Recent pardons show tRump to be the "Swampiest" POTUS in modern times.

obama drone striked citizens. obamacare was a gift to insurance cartels.

Gotta love teabagger deflection, just like their dear leader but since you brought it up.

June 25 2020

The Trump administration has significantly increased the tempo of drone strikes in a number of countries, and it has relaxed the rules governing the targeting of these strikes. The result has been an increased number of civilian casualties with even less accountability than before and no redress for the innocent people caught in the middle of our endless wars.

Like the other wars he inherited, President Trump has significantly escalated it. Through the end of 2019, there had already been 148 U.S. strikes launched in Somalia since Trump took office. In just the first half of 2020, there have been as many U.S. drone strikes in Somalia (40) as there were between 2007 and 2016. In less than three and a half years, Trump has more than quadrupled the number of attacks in Somalia ordered by his last two predecessors.

In March 2017, President Donald Trump reportedly designated parts of Somalia as “areas of active hostilities,” removing Obama-era rules requiring that there be near certainty that strikes will not injure or kill noncombatants.

Hello T. A. Gardner,

Yea, sure... You better go back and review Bill Clinton's last minute pardons. He's easily the sleaziest, slimmest in this regard. I'd recommend starting with the Marc Rich pardon that was a straight up quid pro quo cash for a pardon deal.

Clinton has been displaced. Trump is the best thing to ever happen to the Clinton legacy.

Hello Dutch Uncle,

Corruption? Yes. Swampy? Yes. Probably backfire on him? Yes.

The fact pardoned individuals are accepting a guilty verdict means they lose all 5th Amendment protections when compelled to testify about issues surrounding their admitted crime(s). Flynn will have to testify on the Russia issues. If he lies under oath, there will be no sympathy in giving him the maximum sentence for perjury. The link below was in 2017. After January 20th, it's an entirely new ball game. Even if Trump resigns on the morning of the 20th and Pence pardons him, Trump is admitting guilt and can be forced to testify.

Patience is the key here. Get Trump out of office and Biden in, let the new AG start filing charges by the end of February. Trials of the little fish by Spring and the big fish by Fall. 2021 will be a lot more fun than 2020.

Under the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution, Americans are protected against self-incrimination, but people who have been pardoned are no longer under any legal jeopardy, Harvard Law School Professor Laurence Tribe told TIME.

“Anyone pardoned by Trump would lose most of the 5th Amendment’s protection against compelled testimony that might otherwise have incriminated the pardoned family member or associate, making it much easier for DOJ and Congress to require such individuals to give testimony that could prove highly incriminating to Trump himself,” Tribe said

Wow. Didn't realize that.

VERY interesting!

Get rich now. Buy stock in popcorn.

Trump is exactly how two former Trump Secretaries of State described him: a fucking moron. Which has since become one of my favorite phrases.

Reagan wasn't the smartest guy in the room, but he was a good leader because he surrounded himself with smart people and, although he took responsibility as President, he followed the advise of his team.

Trump thinks he's the smartest guy in the room and doesn't listen to anyone unless they are agreeing with him. This will prove to be Trump's ultimate downfall, especially on this pardon issue. It's an admission of guilt. It's why Flynn's lawyer asked Trump not to pardon Trump and why the Susan B. Anthony museum refused Trump's pardon.

Well, it was partly that Anthony would not have wanted to be pardoned, according to some historians who've pointed out that the activist did not think she'd done anything wrong. Joining those voices is the executive director of the National Susan B. Anthony Museum and House in Rochester, N.Y.

Hello cordeela and a tentative welcome to you,

OK you leftie libtard Bidenites: so who is this perfect saint you are comparing Mr Trump with?? You all spout as if none of your clowns had ever broken a law or rule or convention or moral stance......
If you say: I 100% support and adhere to Jesus teaching and never sway nor allow or excuse any person ON EARTH who is not like me ??? then you have a starting basis for your ridiculous input into discussion forums. But you dont - you will slag off Mr Trump while supporting a rapist -killer, fraudster evil slime such as the Clintons??? You really are without any scruples.
I admit and accept Trump and others make mistakes - that is my starting point.

I am a hard working liberal, and good person who loves America and proudly pays taxes, knowing that I am part of what makes America great. If you can drop the attitude and shoot me straight without animosity I will talk to you. I'd be surprised to see that, based on your rather obvious stereotyping, but I will give you one post to show you might be worth talking to before I place your name on my Ignore List.

What I am really asking here is do you want to have actual in depth conversations or just unload on people. The former I would enjoy; the latter does not interest me.

Is there a sincere person behind that front of yours?

Not everyone here is into the shallow insult-fests...

I don't care how you treat others. We would have to have an understanding for this to go anywhere.

What do you say?

Trump wasn't raised to be a good American.

He was raised to get get rich by screwing people out of their wealth.

Agreed.

Additionally, the Republicans have been screaming about making a businessman President. Well, now they've had one.

Any lawyer who allows Trump to go onto a witness stand and testify under oath...should be disbarred for gross malpractice. Trump is emotionally and psychologically incapable of telling the truth...and every person with an IQ above 90 should realize that.

All that notwithstanding...I fervently hope Trump is forced to testify under oath at some point. He belongs in prison (or in housing for mentally challenged, dangerous people)...and forcing him to testify will result in that happening.

If Trump is pardoned, he has no choice. At least regarding the issues around the pardon. If he lies, he'll pay the same price as all other perjurers.

he's a genius for being against globalism, instead of using it to fluff china like you and your other gay dates.

globalism is your main issue too, you just can't be honest about it.

Really?

More teabagger deflection/backtracking?

Now since you brought the "disastrous" trade policies with communist.

Why did your dear leader, sign a bi-lateral trade agreement with communist INCREASING trade with China by $200 billion?

Little more than a fart.

Yeah, tariffs.

Trump's farm bailouts have cost taxpayers more than $28 billion already, and he just announced another $14 billion in payments as part of his reelection pitch to farm-heavy states.

So, on top of him screwing the pooch on China, once again, Dotard screwed the taxpayer by $42 billion.
