Reflections on the Color of My Skin By Neil deGrasse Tyson

Dr. Tyson is black.

That has nothing to do with anything. The alt-lefties have been using race to divide this country for decades. Every day we get a new installment of CRT from white woke assholes wracked with guilt. Watch yourself as it is close to bouncing back in your face.

Okay? Anything to address the topic and what Dr. Tyson said?

:palm:

Let me try again. The cops are supposed to protect and serve. Dr. Tyson was talking about cops stopping the black drivers more often than the white drivers.

Would it have mattered to your man if they were cops beating him up? Would his perspective change about the cops?

Driving while black is a natural outcome of the disproportionately high black crime rate in this country.

It sucks for law abiding blacks, but the people they should be more annoyed at aren't cops but the criminals in their racial group.

That would depend on the areas.

That would depend on the areas.

In just about any area with a significant black population, the ratio of crime correlates with the black percentage. A similar correlation is found with Latinos.

Again, I'm not saying it's fair for the non-criminals of those groups, but prejudice doesn't develop out of thin air.

Either way, Dr. Tyson was wondering why, no matter where he drove.

I love the movie, "Green Book".

Black people are worried about how cops would respond and rightly so.

I'm not necessarily against less policing, but only if gun rights are preserved.

A simultaneous push for less policing and disarming of the public is a recipe for disaster.

For a society to survive, you either need vigilant police or an armed public.
