Remember the Momentum argument?

Many conservatives were previously fond of saying that Romney had the momentum going into the election and that it did not matter what the polls said they were changing and that when you look at the trend it was obvious that Romney would take the lead and win the election..

Where is that momentum?

The momentum is gone so now they are back to saying all the polling companies are liberal and intnetionally lying to the people about President Obama's chances as part of some huge liberal consiparacy.

Your momentum argument made you look less desperate had it been backed up by any numbers... Funny how they belive polling companies, whos reputation depends on getting it right, are deliberately skewing the numbers to make it look like President Obama is ahead. Especally when that is not what the Presidents campaign wants.... they want it to appear they are slightly behind so they can spur on turnout!

This was such an overblown narrative. Romney got a big boost from the 1st debate, but it halted w/ the 2nd debate, and reversed w/ the 3rd.

We're not seeing a lot of references to the RCP averages these days from the right.

But the momentum was going to save them.

The polls are wildly divergent. But here is what it comes down to.

Do you believe Obama is going to match or exceed his +8 D advantage in Election Day? I don't web hear the Obama campaign saying that

Do you believe that Obama can Los independents by double digits and still win?

I do not belive those two things are necessary for the President to win on election day.

Then what do you believe is necessary for him to win?

The polls you are citing show Obama losing independents. I don't think there are more than three polls that show Obama leading with independents.

So if you agree that Obama will not have the same turnout as 2008 and Obama is losing independents than there is no way he can win. Unless he can cheat his way to a victory.

It is like the debt. It is math

I belive its necessary for the President to get 50.0000001% of the vote in enough states to get him 270 electoral votes.

Here's what we know about momentum...Romney had all the momentum until the storm. Storms over time to get back to the economy, not to mention More Benghazi stuff leaking.

Republicans will back Romney and Dems will vote for Obama ,the real meat in the vote count will be with independents and undecideds. Who will they break for...of course, it's the challenger, Romney

By "more Benghazi stuff," do you mean the report yesterday from a senior intel official that they never ordered anyone to stand down, and that no requests for help were denied - 2 vital aspects to the Fox News coverage of this fabricated "scandal"?

LOL!
Because by this stage of the game if you still haven't made up your mind you're either...

1. a low info voter

2. a dumbass

thats just the cover page for real clear politics.....is there some kind of article you want us to be reading there?.....

if you are talking about polls you have six polls in the last three weeks that show them 1 point off from a tie, three that showed them tied and one each that gave them a 5 pont advantage......the first nine are all within the margin of error.....

does that signal a change in momentum to you?......
