And yet nothing like this happened under Biden. :dunno:
Are you serious right now, be real. First, it's not clear to us in the general public who is at fault, but unless the person found to be at fault was hired by Trump last week, it surely isn't his fault. That said, if it turns out that whoever is found responsible happened to be hired at lower standards to accommodate DEI then one could argue Biden's policies had an adverse impact. Time will tell.

As I'm writing this, it's looking more like your boy did have something to do with it. Obama's moronic DEI policies and Biden undoing Trump's fixes, resulted in over one thousand applicants not getting the jobs that were desperately needed, because they did not satisfy DEI quotas. This did not help, the shortage of ATC's led to only 19 of 30 people on duty last night.

Still nothing like this happened under Biden.

If it was really DEI that is to be blamed for incompetence, we'd see this during Biden.

I'll be ready to blame Braindead and his "Transportation Secretary" less once Trump has had a chance to actually get his appointment in that office. At this point though, it looks like Buttigieg was promoted past his competence level, which is unsurprising considering how Domino's Pizza had to do his job when he was Mayor.

Maybe it was DEI that caused this... geebus, when I first heard that I was like... Geebus, you can't blame DEI for everything... but what a godawful moronic disaster Buttigieg has been in that position...

Remember during his first term the Felon bragged because there had been no airplane crashes in his first term ?

If you can take credit, you can be blamed!
MORE hours have passed now and you have had at least three coffee and one lunch break. We are all still waiting for a link to your claim.

I'm not going to bother with this one, it speaks for itself. There is no better example of complete libtard drone lunacy and stupidity.

I understand that you cannot answer.

If DEI was the culprit, we'd see more of the incidents under Biden.

Utter nonsense. This is literally 9 days into a new administration, everyone at work that day was under the auspices of Braindead's Transportation Secretary (you know his DEI hire) who was utterly beyond his competence level. Under Braindead's Transportation Secretary Reagan International Airport when from an average of 30 air traffic controllers to an overworked 19 air traffic controllers, Buttigieg did nothing to fix this problem. 3 years of disastrously incompetent leadership in Transportation has finally come to a head and leftist morons are spiking the football because they think the clock ran out at the end of a game. This isn't a game and the policies of the previous administration have everything to do with this disaster.

I said, I'm paraphrasing here, your insane comment stands all by itself. And this isn't a question either, it's a STATEMENT, dipshit. You're a moron, that's my answer to your 'question.' Anyone that reads these exchanges will agree, except of course other libtard drones like you.

The Constitution can be changed…it’s difficult.

Of course President Trump could declare Martial Law and suspend the Constitution.

Eight more years.
More proof you are not only an oath-breaker but a domestic enemy of the Constitution. Sad.

More proof you are a great defender of the Orange Jesus and a hater of anyone left of him.

Air traffic controllers have been a shortage for years due to FAA underfunding thanks to sequestration dating back to 2013. Let me help you, Damo: 2013 was before Biden was elected or even Trump the first time.

The problem isn't the Executive branch but the Legislative branch be it failing to pass Immigration reform or funding the FAA.

June 2023
It can take more than three years to train an air traffic controller. “Additionally, Covid-19 led to training pauses over a period of nearly two years—significantly increasing controller certification times. FAA will not know the full impact of the training suspension on certification times for several years because training outcomes vary widely,” according to the report. “Due to these uncertain training outcomes, FAA cannot ensure it will successfully train enough controllers in the short term.”

Industry insiders argue that many of the FAA’s challenges stem from Congress’s long-term failure to adequately fund the agency. The current shortage of air traffic controllers can be traced back to the 2013 United States budget sequestration, says Paul Rinaldi, a former 16-year air traffic controller at Washington Dulles International Airport and 12-year president of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA). “They closed the air traffic control academy,” he explains. “They looked at reducing hours and many air traffic facilities. They looked at closing and cutting more than 100 federal contract towers, and stopped most modernization projects.”
