If he is in an urban area,....you are correct,...he wouldn't last long at all. Fish in a barrel. The great irony here is it is way more likely that he would be done in by those on his own side of the political aisle as they kick his door in trying to get at his last few cans of SPAM because its a lot better than rat meat....LOL See New Orleans,....after the hurricane.
