Reprising Dole & McLoser, Republicans are fielding another weak candidate this year

I don't know about stronger but he's running a more efficient and well organized campaign then either Dole or McCain did. Romney's biggest weakness is his inability to connect with middle and working class people. How can people expect him to adequately address the problems and issues that are important to middle/working class people when Romney demonstrates a consistant cluelessness about those issues. Bush may of had only a 1/10th of Romney's overall ability but he had the magic touch when it came to building this relationship. This could prove very problematic for Romney.

I learned from the Bush years that you can lose badly in the debates and still win re-election. I've also seen how on form a person can appear to win a debate but in substance of the issues discussed be wrong on most of this issues being debated. Reagan/Carter comes to mind.
