No more fruit salad with Number. 10 red dye grapes for fake cherries. Like when I was a kid.School nutrition programs are going to be much improved in the very near future by the way...
Hard earned credentials.She does not...
LOL..You must be pretty young...that wasn't that long ago... Local systems are trying very hard to improve menus...hungry kids can't learn, and teachers and coaches can't be expected to provide food so that the kids can make it through the day and athletic practices/events...No more fruit salad with Number. 10 red dye grapes for fake cherries. They were...but I laugh every time they mention me " stealing my sister's credentials"...that's just stupid...but look who's repeating what they were "told" to post?Hard earned credentials.
So So True. My mom was a teacher. She taught at a school with very poor kids. She spent a significant portion of her income buying supplies for her kids.LOL..You must be pretty young...that wasn't that long ago... God Bless her...Most of us became teachers for the right reason...we'd do anything for our kids...So So True. My mom was a teacher. She taught at a school with very poor kids. She spent a significant portion of her income buying supplies for her kids.
In this case, it's just pure evil and unwarranted hate.. Not a single one of them could have taught successfully, though...They are jealous of people with an education. They have wasted their lives.
She thought of her student as HER KIDS. She had students returning to visit her for years. One Vietnam refugee student who couldn't speak English is an Engineer today because she told him he could do it. Mom took him under her wing and spent a lot extra time teaching the English language which meant she had to learn some Vietnamese. She recognized he was very strong in math and encouraged him to become an Engineer.God Bless her...Most of us became teachers for the right reason...we'd do anything for our kids...
They hate you because you got an education and improved the lives of others. They squandered their lives. In this case, it's just pure evil and unwarranted hate.. Not a single one of them could have taught successfully, though...
Not with those attitudes, and that vocabulary...
They are our kids... She certainly has some lovely memories and I'm sure many many stories... We do love to share them... (I have some now who are great grandparents... And I taught in a very "generational" school. So most of the families are still living right where they always have.... A very proud very historic neighborhood... I get to see a lot of former students and their families quite often. It's pretty Wonderful ..)The thought of her student as HER KIDS. She had students returning to visit her for years. I think i'm going to start going with that reasoning as the fuel that feeds their fire...They hate you because you got an education and improved the lives of others. They squandered their lives.
What do you think of the idea that taxpayers should pay for lunch for everybody?I think i'm going to start going with that reasoning as the fuel that feeds their fire...
She went to the home of the Vietnamese student. She got on the floor to play with an infant and even the grandma got on the floor because it was disrespectful for them to be higher than a guest. That student had to start work as soon as he got out of high school to support his siblings. After they began to work he was then able to attend college and become an Engineer. They are our kids... I'm OK with it. As a kid we got a mid morning snack. A 1/2 pint of milk and a graham cracker. It cost a nickel. 2 cents for the cracker and 3 cents for the milk. The poor kids got their mid morning snack for free. The school wanted the kids to start their day with a little food in their bellies. What do you think of the idea that taxpayers should pay for lunch for everybody?
You fool no one, you try to use your sister's teaching credentials
Shows how much they care about poor children.
