Matt seems to be on the right track here. It is definitely child abuse, you do not put those sort of drugs that close to children. Child abuse may not have been the motivation.

He is definitely guilty of something, but it will take more investigation to figure out what.

According to @Earl we should get in touch with Finland, because these sort of things happen in Finland all the time. Not knowing exactly what this is, I am not sure I can disagree, but it does not seem like something that happens much in Finland.

As @Damocles has explained to me multiple times to me, accusing someone of defending child molesting is not a violation of 12b. Hey, you can even accuse me of being a coconspirator after the fact, according to Damocles.

If you want to be a whiny Nazi Bitch about it, go ahead.

By the way, what you are defending is not definitely child sexual abuse. It might be nonsexual child abuse. There is no evidence that it is sexual at all. So not covered at all under 12b.

This guy who @Earl is defending is a real scumbag, but it has not been proven that there is anything sexual about it. We are all assuming that the reason he abused his granddaughters was sexual, and it might be, but there is no proof that it is. Make no mistake about this, putting drugs in his granddaughters' ice cream is child abuse. Even if he thought he could stop them before they ate the ice cream, there is a real danger he would not have. This is child abuse.

This is child abuse, so I will not apologize to the guy Earl is defending, but I will correct my implication that there was anything sexual about it. I am not at a point that I can say there was nothing sexual about it, because the motives for this child abuse is still somewhat murky, but I have no reason to believe it is sexual.

I feel it is important to make that clear. I will add that I feel Earl pulled me in the direction of thinking it was sexual, and with any talk about Finland. When I started posting on this, I was speaking as if it were money motivated, speaking of Diary Queen as being seen as a "cash cow" by people in poor white rural counties.

Just a reminder, it was @Earl who introduced child sexual abuse, Finland, and immigration into this thread, so it is Earl who would have violated 12b.

I have no reason to believe there is anything sexual about the child abuser that Earl is defending. Earl saying the child abuser he is defending is sexual does not make me guilty of anything.

What still gives me pause about the child abuser @Earl is protecting is the MDMA. Having access to any drug proves that he is involved in other crimes beyond child abuse. MDMA has a history of use in sexual abuse, so it makes us all think the other crimes might be sexual abuse.

I still think that the motive for this crime is not sexual, unless he wants custody to get sexual access. Maybe I should say the immediate motive is not sexual. One does not get the police involved if one wants to have sex with a child. He definitely approached the police.

What do you think Earl?

When you see him talking about why 14 is his younger limit, it is not because he cares about the damage he does to children under 14. It is because he does not find most girls under 14 sexually attractive.
