Republican Party Has 'Homoerotic Fascination' with Vladimir Putin: Ex-UK PM

You would think that Johnson and trump would get along, because they are roughly similar points on the spectrums. But Johnson is at least trying to be competent, which trump hates. trump thinks attempting to be competent, and to know things, is arrogant.

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that the Republican Party has a "weird, homoerotic fascination" Russian leader, Vladimir Putin.

Johnson, a long-time ally of president-elect Donald Trump, made the remarks on stage at Fortune's Global Forum conference on Monday, where he was discussing the relationship between Russia, Trump the Republican party.

Newsweek has reached out to Boris Johnson via email for comment as well as Trump's team and the Republican National Committee, outside of normal working hours.

Following Trump's 2024 presidential election win, there has been a spotlight on how his second presidential term will alter foreign policy relations, and how it will influence the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

NATO allies are reportedly plotting to ensure Trump can't scale back support for Ukraine.
You sound jealous. No one has such a fascination with you except your dog huh?

Johnson is funny to me. He tries to be a good person on the outside but clearly will do whatever he is told. Sad.

Johnson's first name is Alexander. Growing up he was known as Alex. Only when he started his career did he start using his more unique middle name: Boris.

Johnson was born in the USA, but his family moved back to the UK, when he was two. He grew up in the UK. He originally wanted to be President of the USA, but could not get the accent right. He could have moved to the USA and worked on it, but decided that the barriers were too high.

Right before media interviews, he messes up his own hair. He thinks that gives him an every man look, rather than the well crafted look of many politicians.

There is one softball question that infuriates him, and he refuses to answer: how many children does he have? He has an unknown number of children, and refuses to even answer how many times he has been married.

I know a lot of random facts about Johnson, but do not feel like I know the man himself. Much of what he presents to the world is an act, but that act is often drawn from inside himself, and so is the most honest a person can be.
