Guards would still have access to him and in case you don't know, many of the guards are crooked, they are a major source for contraband in prison.

Former President or not, he would be a criminal, and being minimal security it wouldn’t be Alcatraz

But it won’t happen, as I said, if it did, something like house arrest at one of his resorts with minimal outside contact and access to social media

That would be my guess.

For someone like Trump that would be an extreme punishment in itself.

That makes sense to you? Of course, it does. Trump has a platform to spread lies and secrets now. In jail, there would be far fewer opportunities to spread his crazy Trumpian lies. You actually think the government lives in fear of Trump. Nope, that is just Republican politicians who fear being primaried. Trump has never been able to keep a secret. He blabs like an immature teenager trying to impress everyone in class.

He would be under the same restrictions no matter where he is housed as he would be in prison.
