Republicans announce 'record-breaking' fundraising haul in effort to grow House majority in 2024

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) announced Friday a massive, "record-breaking" fundraising haul in its effort to expand the party's narrow House majority in next year's elections.

The Republican campaign arm dedicated to winning seats in the House of Representatives for the GOP raised $9.3 million in September, bringing the total amount raised in the third fundraising quarter to a whopping $18.5 million.

The historic haul marks the organization's new record for a presidential cycle off-year third quarter fundraising period, and the best fundraising for the month of September in a presidential cycle off-year in NRCC history....

The Republi'cans' have a current and ongoing election for Speaker going on, which is a fight for which wing of the party will gain control, and as in most elections, that draws a lot of money by those on each side.

If Biden was removed by his own party tomorrow, as Kevin was by his, you would instantly see all the politicians looking to replace Biden, and their surrogates start raising huge money.
 
The party of Gaetz, Boebert & Greene, who can't even elect a Speaker to the House?

All the money in the world won't help that party until they get their act together and learn how to govern.

Wouldn’t doubt it, and not for principle reasons, rather they know this is their moment in the sun, they’ve never gotten this much attention, Gaetz has been all over the infotainment channels, and they want it to continue as long as they can

No offense, are you being sarcastic? $9.3 million will not go far. It is like five cents per voter. Given the collapsing Republican ground game, they will need billions to make up for the free volunteers they could have gotten.

There are only a few select seats that they need to seriously defend and this is very early on. There is more money yet to be raised. This is a historic start.

In an election that will be close, and will have few independents, getting out the vote is very important. If you have a solid ground game, it can be done with volunteers, but Republicans do not have that. That means it will cost a fortune to get out the vote. Worse yet, Republicans will be trying to run it nationally, so will be unable to find any bargains.

Worse yet, trump will be driving many Republican voters to not want to vote. And many of the battleground contests have weird Republicans running in them.

Boebert got 51% of the vote, when people thought she was a good christian small business owner. Now that we all know she is a prostitute with Neo-Nazi leanings, it will be much harder to get her elected.
