Republicans: Feel The Guilt; Be The Guilt.

Hello leaningright,

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. You gotta give me someone better that Hillary or Joe to vote for. Maybe Tulsi.

I could easily have voted for her. She is a good person.

But I don't see how any person who values what is right can vote for Trump.

Sure, Biden is too cozy with big banks, but he is basically a good person and dedicated to America.

Trump is just a selfish con man in it for himself who couldn't give two fiddle sticks about America.

Those who allowed him into office bear some of the responsibility for what he has done. And what he failed to do because he is not a good leader.

And I don't care what kind of PR campaign is run. Deplorable is not a good thing at all. Hatred. Racism. Those things are deplorable. Siding with that is the wrong choice, wrong for America.

Deplorable = reprehensible.

Hello gemini104104,

So-called republicans who have desecrated the original meaning of being conservative are basically filthy, dirty and seditious swine when it comes to their relationship with Democracy, humanity and the common decency of civilization on Earth at being utterly unGodly creatures, and at living it up on the taxpayer's wasted dime.

Actually there are a lot of generally good people who simply got taken in by dumb PR and bought into negative hype about Hillary. Sure, she had some baggage, but she would have done a good dedicated job of leading our country.

And that is more than can be said of Trump.

It matters.

People who allowed Trump into office to prevent Hillary now have to own the train wreck that his presidency was. They married themselves to his record and now they have to own the guilt.

What I see is a lot of people who told themselves it was OK, everything Trump did, and can't admit they made a mistake. So they chose him again, even when presented with a very rational other choice with President Biden.

And now they have to justify that by self-fooling that they think they still made the correct choice.

Except they didn't.

They should simply admit it, shoulder the guilt, learn the lesson, choose wiser next time.

Biden cares nothing about most Americans...Kamala even less...Nothing rational about voting for either of them...
...."And now they have to justify that by self-fooling that they think they still made the correct choice.

That's already happening...;)

It was a mistake to choose Trump.

Some made it once and mended their ways.

Fortunately more voters realized the mistake and didn't give him a second term.

That's how we know the first one was a mistake.

How can it be justified to vote for a twice-impeached president?

The Senate Republicans did not act as impartial jurists. They were partisan. There was no point in them even listening to the evidence. They had their minds made up before it was presented.

If they had acted in an impartial way Trump would have been found guilty both times. He'd have been removed from office in a just proceeding.

 at racism. Show me one thing Trump did that indicated he was racist. Was it his “Law and order” mantra down the stretch? What legislation did he pass … or not pass that indicated he was racist in any way.

Biden cozy with big banks … there’s more than that wrong with the guy.

While we’re at it, besides tweeting mean and borderline vulgar things and being a terrible statesman (why I couldn’t stand him) show me what he did or did not do that made him so terrible.

And this right here … “But I don’t see how any person who values what is right can vote for Trump.” You could just as easily put most Democrat’s name in there and it would make it true for about half of the rest of the country.

Books have been written about how wrong Trump was for America. He was racist before he ever got into office. He wouldn't rent his apartments to blacks. If they applied they were told there was no vacancy. If whites applied, they were shown available units. He refused to denounce white supremacy. He courted the racist vote. When called on the carpet about support from David Duke he pretended he didn't know of him even though it was shown that he did. And then that remark about good people on both sides. And the remark about how a judge of Mexican descent could not be impartial in his Trump University fraud case (which he did not fight, and agreed to pay damages to the plaintiffs.) And how Mexican immigrants are 'rapists bringing drugs and crime.' There was the whole birtherism nonsense.

Newsweek: Trump's racism

Those who voted for him now own all of that.

Everyone:

Use this thread to post examples of crooked Republicans who have no business in public office.

We can begin with Donald Trump.

Josh Hawley, Senator from Missouri, where he does not live nor own property. Supporter of The Big Lie and QAnon, and #TRE45ON butt nugget.

You're kidding, right? He lost a federal lawsuit for refusing to rent to people of color. He insisted that the five young black men exonerated in NYC of rape were guilty.

More:

"On the campaign trail, Trump repeatedly made explicitly racist and otherwise bigoted remarks, from calling Mexican immigrants criminals and rapists, to proposing a ban on all Muslims entering the US, to suggesting a judge should recuse himself from a case solely because of the judge’s Mexican heritage.

"The trend has continued into his presidency. From stereotyping a Black reporter to pandering to white supremacists after they held a violent rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, to making a joke about the Trail of Tears, Trump hasn’t stopped with racist acts after his 2016 election." Your opinion about Pres. Biden and hate for VP Harris are meaningless, based as they are on both racism and the fact that you blindly hate anyone with a (D) after their name.

Now run back to your gossip girls' hideout and cry some more about "TDS" -- Toxic's Deranged Spite. lol

Hello ThatOwlWoman,

Josh Hawley, Senator from Missouri, where he does not live nor own property. Supporter of The Big Lie and QAnon, and #TRE45ON butt nugget.

Yes. Hawley is a terrible person who should never have been allowed anywhere near power.

Matt Gaetz, who will surely be going to prison on rape and other federal charges.

Oh, yeah:

(from your link) "Most recently, Trump has called the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus the “Chinese virus” and “kung flu” — racist terms that tap into the kind of xenophobia that he latched onto during his 2016 presidential campaign; "

How can we forget?

That crack got old Asian Americans brutally attacked from behind by cowardly young white American Trump supporting racists.

What a deplorable thing to do.

How can anyone support a president who causes that and not feel guilty?

Own the guilt. Be the guilt. Be honest with yourselves, Trump Partisans.

How can we forget to mention Jim Jordan, former wrestling coach who pretended to know NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL about the sexual abuse of athletes on the team that he coached? He's from Ohio.

Totally. Jordan should never have been allowed anywhere near power.

And how about Lindsey Graham?

"Use my words against me."

Face it, Republicans.

You support bad people.

It hurts the country.

You own the guilt you feel.

The people you elect are just shills for big money, and they pander to the worst voters.

It's DEPLORABLE!

And there are not really enough deplorable people to make that work so then you pull every underhanded trick you can think of to rig the elections in your favor.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

And it will tear you up inside until you own up to it.

pfizer sponsors the news that lies about vaccine danger.

you support genocide.

Kevin McCarthy.

"The president bears responsibility for Wednesday's attack on Congress by mob rioters."

Then, after visiting Mar A Lago, McCarthy came to Trump's defense.

Thus, McCarthy is unworthy of office.

As much as I dislike the policies of Mike Pence, he strikes me as aperson who at least has some sort of moral core, and would not intentionally betray the United States.

Given that Republicans could have had Pence as their nominee in 2020, and the he easily could have been the party's frontrunner for 2024, the fact that Republicans still have their lips locked onto Trump's flabby ass actually says a lot about their character as human beings.

It is a sad state of affairs that our national discourse has descended to.
