Republicans mantra about not being a Democracy...

Oh, I readily admit that my statement that set you off contains both a bit of hyperbole and cliche as well. There is also truth, however, in both. By "dearth of intellect" you mean "doesn't agree with me."

I sound like a leftist huh? It's easy, no thinking required.

Prove it?

Ever hear of Liz Cheney? Kinzinger? Literally hundreds of retirements since MAGA came around because some just don't "fit in" anymore?

Cheney and Kinzinger were not selected by the Republicans. They were chose by the Democrats because they would go in lockstep with the Democrats on the committee. Pelosi rejected the Republican's choices for that committee knowing full well they would be completely or nearly completely adverse to whatever the Democrats did. Better check your numbers too. Kinzinger got tossed because his district in Illinois was gerrymandered out of existence by the Democrats.
More Democrats have quit their party as it has moved Left than Republicans because of Trump too.

A 5 to 1 ratio of Democrats leaving to Republicans switching

Pritt is one of the 10 state lawmakers nationwide who have switched parties in 2023, according to Ballotpedia. That includes six who jumped from one of the major parties to the other. In 2022, by contrast, just two state lawmakers changed affiliation between the Democrats and Republicans.

Why these Democrats are defecting to the GOP
Four Democratic lawmakers in West Virginia, Louisiana, and North Carolina switched parties recently. Should Democrats worry?

And these are real conservatives. Politicians don't get much more conservative than Cheney. It's not even "diversity of opinion" in the GOP now. You're loyal to Trump and preach the Big Lie about 2020, or you're out.

No, they are the biggest RINO's in the Republican party. Both Cheney and Kinzinger voted to impeach Trump, twice. You don't get it. You think they're the correct GOP opinion because they agree with your Democrat-centric political views.

You'll spin it & and deny it, as you always do. But the GOP is a textbook cult. There is NO diversity of thought allowed there, whatsoever.
