I believe Lee said all those things after winning elected office. If she wins reelection it will be in spite of those things and probably due to her legislative record, good or bad. You dummies picked this one based on statements like this. She won because she is stupid (not in spite of it), like George Bush and/or Sarah Palin.

What is the matter? Tired of getting your ass handed to you on genetics? So you pretend that any other science denier like you is somehow in agreement with me? Her comments are very similar to your 'a skin cell can develop into a human being on its own'.

Republican leaders at both the local and state level released a statement on Thursday disavowing her completely. “Her candidacy is neither supported nor endorsed by the leaders of our party, and she should withdraw from the race immediately,” state party chair Jack Dorgan said in the statement, with Chicago chair Adam Robinson adding that “Atanus is not in any way affiliated with any of our efforts in the Chicago GOP, nor have we ever supported, endorsed, or assisted her in any way at any time.”
