Republicans win House control after retaking Senate, CBS News projects.

No, you're just wrong.

What am I wrong about?

Maricopa County ALWAYS takes days & even longer to count. Lots of localized areas do. There are various explanations for why - and I wish it didn't take them so long - but it does. I'd actually rather they err on the side of accuracy.

And both Republicans and Democrats have won after these long counts. That's how it goes. It's been that way for as long as I've been watching elections. Some races are being called for Republicans even today.

Kari Lake lost because she's a bad candidate - who stuck to election denial baselessly. Arizona has rejected her twice now. She has never won a thing. Because Trump won a state doesn't mean every other Republican candidate has to win that state, or it's suspicious somehow. We actually see that kind of ticket-splitting often in elections.

"As long as there have been elections".

Substantiate that congressional races take longer to decide. Why would that be? If you're saying that it's because the races are tighter that is false. If you're saying that it's because the electorate is smaller, that is still false (plenty of states count every race just as fast as the presidential, almost like they're counting the same ballots which they are supposed to be).

I don't think it's accuracy being served. It gives them time to "find more votes" (in the words of Trump to that Georgia guy).

Party registration means nothing.

Bullshit

- who stuck to election denial
We agree that is why she "lost".

Arizona has rejected her twice now.
The Maricopa bureaucracy (deep state) rejected her twice now.

Last time a Maricopa official lied in open court about what happened when they intentionally misprinted ballots to sabotage day-of voting. Judge didn't care, but I do and I will never stop caring.

It adds to pre-existing and well founded suspicion.

The suspicion is anything but "well founded."

Some localities have always taken this long. It's not people "finding votes" - unless you have a shred of proof of that. I'm all ears if you do. But the notion that "the count is taking days so there must be some fraud" is baseless. We always have some races that take days in elections.

Somehow you haven't convinced me to accept inexplicable and unusual delays that are found in the context of proven liars and proven fraud.

And I'd add to my last reply - the OP is about the House being called for Republicans today. Because enough of the races were called for REPUBLICANS today to put them over the top - over a week after the election.

Are you suggesting we should be suspicious of those races - and of the House being called for the GOP by extension?

I have accepted that some on the right will never accept that there is no fraud when their candidate (or one of their candidates) loses.

It's just how it's gonna be from now on.
Great, all we need is more of me, and more left-tribers to think the same thing and there will be a critical moment where it is either civil war or trustworthy elections. See ya then.

We should be suspicious, a lot more suspicious; and even more suspicious about outliers such as long delays which other states prove are far from necessary.

If your goal is to pass absolutely nothing and have everything shut down then I agree with you. But if you want things to actually function they are the problem.
If your goal is to pass corrupt legislation that bends the working class over furniture and have a corrupt government continue to function as normal, unabated, then I agree with you. But if you want the working class to thrive, then the bought-and-paid-for career politicians are the problem, not the Freedom Caucus.

He's been appointing people to positions. But he can't really FIX the problems until he's officially in office.

Just naming the team is not winning the game.
You're completely unaware of what has already happened in Qatar, for one example, aren't you? :)

This isn't about appointing anyone.

Trump and the Republicans have won a landslide victory.

The American people do not (did not) believe the horse mierda coming from the far left loons.

It’s morning in America.

Trump broke the far left loons and their plan to resettle America with illegals who would vote for them.

Let the deportations begin.
