Resolved: The primary reason for the collapse of Christianity is WW1

I would agree with this. No morals= no functional society.

Which is the argument for how we went wrong in the Enlightenment. One must understand what matters and what does not, which is in the domain of the spiritual quest, something that the leaders of the Enlightenment falsely believed does not matter, or barely matters.

Galileo was arrested by the Church and threatened with death.

No. He was threatened with torture, and later submitted to House arrest. Nothing the Catholic Church did changed science. The Theory of the Terracentric universe was already falsified. The measurements that would later be used to develop the gravitational constant were already done. His observations concerning pendulum movement had already been made and that theory had already been published.

Even though Galileo was placed under house arrest by the Catholic Church and that church threatened torture, Galileo never wavered in his belief in Jesus Christ or His teachings.

There are no 'leaders of the Enlightenment'. It simply occurred.
