Decades ago we all paid a much higher tax percentage, and our economic policies protected the people more than businesses. During these times our nation saw historic growth and unheard of economic prosperity. None of that was done by basing our policies on giving more to the rich. Why do conservative call social programs that help the poor socialism but believe it's ok to take taxes from working people and give that money to people who are already rich. Isn't that just reverse socialism?
 
I will. Since 2008 Cons have given up the moral authority on income inequality when they privatized profits but socialized losses after those greedy asshole collapsed our system. I want my freaken money back from those no good rotten crooks! We may not be able to send those assholes to prison where they belong but by God we can get our money back that they stole!

I am not against some ideas from the Left, but you are the epitome of what I don't like about the Left, butt I am not going into details here. If "WE" give you Leftists an inch, you take a mile, real Leftists are NEVER satisfied, always wanting "moore"(Michael). Let you control this Country, Blood, and we would slip into a European Socialist economic shithouse. The Left in this Country is too radical for my blood, Blood, it is what it is, forget about it.

Problem is with your argument is I'm not a leftist. I'm center right. That's how for of the right wing deep end the GOP has gone.

Decades ago the marginal tax rate on the bottom 10% was 20%. Do you really want to go back to that? Fine with me.

I did alright this year in the market. I got a 20% ROI but I still haven't gotten back the money those Wall Street Bastards stole. The hypocritical bastards. They're all for the free market until the greedy bastards crash it then expect us, the tax payers, to bail their asses out, while they still get their bonuses and keep the profits they make from tax payers money privatized. They need to lay about a 90% tax on the bastards.

I don't have a problem with the current tax structure. It's actually pretty damned fair. What I have a problem with is the reverse socialism in which risk is socialized and profits are privatized.

Nice revisionism here, but it was the Tea Party that wanted to let the banks crumble under their own failures. Who socialized their losses? It was the Tea Party that wanted to let GM and Chrysler go into a normal bankruptcy. Who privatized their losses? Spare me your feigned indignation about greedy assholes collapsing our system. You are all for crony capitalism as long as it is for your preferred vendors like Solyndra. You don't mind socializing their losses do you?

I hate and oppose crony capitalism in all its forms. You like it, you just want it to go to your favorite companies.

I did less percentage wise but had my best year in total gains!
Quintupled since the bottom!

I'm amused by the proposition that allowing those who EARN their wealth to keep more of it is taking money from working people. Are you Liberals really that stupid??? Is it also your view that what individuals earn belongs to the government and that we, the sheeple, should be happy for what they allow us to keep?

It's almost as lame as your belief that social welfarism and entitlement spending haven't exploded to astronomic levels.

Youre a testament to the low information public who voted for Obamas dimwitted hope and change combined with trillion dollar deficits, most of which was a massive $850 billion pork laden bill, that did nothing to create any jobs on this country.
