We have to ask the question, what is the greater risk? I still think fires and other disasters that need rapid egress are the greater risk. Even in school shootings, having one door might be a greater risk. Most of the time, the school shooters are already in the building, so it is better to have an easy way out, than to worry much about keeping others out. In fact, more doors makes it easier for the police to come in and help more people... Assuming the police are not cowering outside.
