Extremophiles show that clearly. Life exists on earth in places that science thought were impossible.

The consensus view in genetics is that all life, including extremophiles, have a common last universal ancestor, the first microbes that arose about 3.8 billion years ago. Extremophiles adopted to live in extreme conditions by a Darwinian descent with modification process.

If additional clades of life ever arose, we unfortunately don't have evidence for it
