There are worse stories. But most of those are not as amusing.

One time we brought her home and she was rooting around in the kitchen looking for a knife to cut a hole in her head to "put the onion in". I told her to go to bed and she did.

Thank God.

Once my grandmother called me to ask me to come over and clean the lawn because the Mayor was going to have a parade down the street. Plausable because of where in Montgomery she lived.

By the time I got there she was in a frenzy because the president (Bill Clinton) was coming over to take her out on the town.

I am a tad annoyed with my doc then. I am supposed to get a shot for my arm on Friday and he seems to have forgotten to mention this particular potential side effect.
 
Did you really just get fired for being at the hospital with your mom that month? I can't believe they would hold that against you so much.
