Robert Kennedy Assassination

I was 5 years old

It’s a very clear memory for me

When the man on TV said the president was dead

I laid down on the rug in front of the TV and just watched the day full of news

I don’t know how long I watched

But I do remember watching the shooting of the perp live too

They are some of my first clear memories in life

This is about RFK not JFK

I have become far less innocent in recent years, I now no longer consider it impossible that the CIA and their accomplices did this.

I was in 9th grade then. My hope for this country almost died with him that day.

I had just graduated from college.
I honestly can't remember my reaction to the assassination,
but I must have had one.

Strange.
Maybe I was too absorbed with the thought of probably going to war to even think of much else.

I don't know for sure who did it but the CIA certainly cannot be ruled out. BTW The government STILL will not release all the classified documents on the John Kennedy assassination. Sounds like the government is trying to hide something.

One of the many factors that have changed my mind. I now also am pretty sure that what we now call DeepState got Nixon removed because he was planning on spending his enormous political capital on going to war with this cancer on America.

A #4 hit in 1968 on the U.S. Billboard Charts. LYRICS- Anybody here seen my old friend Abraham,
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed lotta people, but it seems the good they die young
I just looked around and he's gone.
Anybody here seen my old friend John,
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed lotta people, but it seems the good they die young
I just looked around and he's gone.
Anybody here seen my old friend Martin,
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed lotta people, but it seems the good they die young
I just looked around and he's gone.
Didn't you love the things that they stood for?
Didn't they try to find some good for you and me?
And we'll be free,
Someday soon it's gonna be one day.
Anybody here seen my old friend Bobby,
Can you tell me where he's gone?
I thought I saw him walkin' up over the hill
With Abraham, Martin and John.

You are an idiot

Do not forget that in later years Nixon was sure that he had made a mistake in leaving, that he had been manipulated into it.

I remember being on the playground when someone mentioned it. I was in 6th grade.

I don't think I fully understood the ramifications. I was a little perplexed, as I still remembered JFK's murder when I was very young.

I was 10 and devastated when JFK was killed. Remember crying a lot and telling my mom that he saved my oldest brother (then age 20) from going to war and us from being bombed. By age 14, when RFK was murdered, I understand the national ramifications, or at least thought that I did.

Do you ever wonder what the world and our country would be today if those two men hadn't died when they did, and MLK and Malcolm X as well? Someone back then did not want change and was willing to find stooges to kill to prevent it.

Bet you support any sort of Machiavellian tactics to stay in power, as long as the power seeker's vision coincides with your twisted view of how things should be.

Go drink another pitcher and watch some half naked chicks on boats, and write some odes to your Ohio prune. That's more what you're good for anymore. lol
