All the conspiracy theorists are whackjobs. They're too deluded to understand keeping things secret like faking the Moon Landing or deliberately poisoning people with the COVID vaccine is an impossible task as the Rosenbergs, Ellsberg, Snowden, Manning and others periodically prove.

Not a single person over the age of consent who believes in conspiracy theories is sane.

I question anybody who wants to suddenly become a prominent public figure
at an age where retirement is the prize for which to reach.

I'll admit that I made a mental exception for Bernie Sanders,
but it hasn't worked out for Bernie,
and it certainly isn't going to work out for RFK, Jr,.
who doesn't appear to be in Bernie's intellectual universe.

1968 was a horrible year. It began with the Tet offensive, which many Americans saw as losing the war when, in fact, it was last gasp by North Vietnam just like the German Ardennes Offensive was in 1944. 1968 was the peak year for US military casualties. In April, Martin Luther King was assassinated which was followed by riots across the nation. In June, Robert Kennedy was assassinated. In August the Democrat Convention in Chicago turned into a riot as both civil rights protestors and antiwar protestors peaked.

When the fucking morons talk about "civil war" and how divided our nation is, it's obvious they never lived to see 1968.

My family was enroute from Fort Knox, KY to NAS North Island, CA when MLK was assassinated. I was in sixth grade, the new kid in class in California for the 6-week remainder of the school year.

Yes I do. Do I agree with everything he says? NO. But that can be said bout anybody and generally speaking I do prefer him over other Democrats by a good margin. It will be interesting to sit back and watch what he does in the coming year. I think he will build a movement similar in size to what Bernie sanders had at one point. To be honest though it wouldnt shock me one bit to see him end up having an unfortunate accident of some kind as many on the entrenched wall street left hate him very deeply.

It's not likely but if it was RFK jr vs trump who you voting for? How about if it was RFK jr vs any other Republican? I think the former would a tougher decision than the latter.

First, 1968 was a terrible year for those who were around long enough to remember it.

Second, conspiracy theories such as Junior's theories about his father fall apart when sane, intelligent and educated people remember that there have been multiple administrations and Congresses with Democrats and Republicans alternating control. If there was anything dirty, someone would have revealed it.

Is there any doubt that if there was any truth to the CIA killing JFK or RFK or space aliens in Area 51 that Trump would have revealed it as a populist tactic to stay in office? That Nixon or Clinton would have used it to deflect away from their crimes?

I was 7 and wondering why the cartoons weren't on Saturday morning. For RFK, I was confused about all the other shit including worrying about my dad going back to Vietnam after Tet, the riots following MLK's assassination two months earlier.

I wasn't there to witness the assassination, so, I have to rely on the evidence of the authorities that did investigate the assassination, and the witnesses that were centered around RFK at the second of his death.

After RFK's speech, he stepped away from the podium, was dangerously walking through a public crowd totally surrounding him, shaking hands with the public.

Witnesses identified Sirhan Sirhan as the only shooter. There was no witness that said anything about a 2nd shooter.

This was a Point Blank shooting. The murder weapon used in the shooting was wrestled away from Sirhan Sirhan's hand by the crowd within just seconds..

My conclusion is that, if there were a 2nd gun or second gunman, SOMEONE WOULD HAVE SEEN IT AND REPORTED THAT DURING THE ORIGINAL INVESTIGATION.

There is no way, in my mind, that a 2nd gunman could have been involved in a dual effort, at the exact PRECISE instant that Sirhan started firing into the body of RFK Point Blank- WITHOUT SOMEONE WITNESSING IT!

There were certainly enough witnesses there.

So , I am not going to even rely upon Ballistics, Bullet Angles, Or number of shots fired

Sirhan Sirhan was able to get off all 8 shots before the gun was wrestled out of his hands, half of the shots being fired in various directions, while the gun was being wrestled out of his hand! Sirhan was able to get off 4 kill shots before RFK's body fell all the way to the ground, and before the good Samaritans attempted to disarm Sirhan. From the time of the first bullet being fired up until the 8th bullet was fired, happened in all of 10 - 15 seconds!

It was fortunate that several others were not seriously shot or killed during the struggle for the gun!

It was clear the House and Senate had enough votes to impeach and convict him. He would have been wasting his time to fight it (and lost his pension). The tapes made it clear Nixon was heavily involved in the cover up.

Trying to defend Nixon and claim Sirhan Sirhan and Oswald did not assassinate RFK and JFK goes against all facts and reality.

RFK Jr. is getting plenty of media coverage by appealing to the conspiracy theorists.

Why not? RFK was big on taking on the Mafia....which the Mafia saw as a betrayal for their assistance to JFK.
