Roger Stone Arrested in Mueller Probe

Can be and will be are two different things. Besides, the federal law does not mean you can be prosecuted for being wrong about something. You have to knowingly and intentionally lie.

I’ll ask again.

Who do you think suborned perjury with Cohen?

There are quite a few decent, individual Republicans

not to date myself, but I remember when there were many 'decent' Republicans

brought up in a 100% (besides me) Republican loving family who now just change the subject when Trump comes up..........but STILL would vote for him tomorrow

not sure how it all went so horribly wrong for these folks, most of them are complicit in these crimes

1917-2016 is an awfully long time to be described as "never," commie water carrier.

Which party had a president, who, in 2012, promised Russia he would be more flexible toward them?

Obama open mic slip: 'After my election I have more flexibility' to bend over for him.

they've been thru all his records.
I mean his phone and computer - so what were they searching for "other related document?"

it's a red herring to give them credence to search and make a scene with 29 cops in 25 cars

Maybe, but you have to list what you are looking for in a search warrant, that you know will one day be public.

President Obama looks to a new future of partnership with Russia during his trip to Moscow last week. Watch highlights and behind-the-scenes footage of his visit.

Which party had a president, who, in 2012, promised Russia he would be more flexible toward them?

In 2012, President Obama assailed then-candidate Gov. Mitt Romney for saying Russia is the U.S.'s biggest geopolitical foe. Truth Teller meets Throwback Thursday to take a look at Obama's statement.

There are quite a few decent, individual Republicans, but I agree with the proposition that movement conservatism is based to a great extent on racial resentment and xenophobia. And America collectively shares some responsibility for that, so I am not going to put it all on teabaggers and wingnuts. I also generally agree with the premise that there is little distinction between actual racists, and those that provide them safe harbor and common cause.

I do not agree that soul-gazing and romantic sunset walks by a Republican president and a Russian dictator has anything to do with racism. It is just objectionable, nauseating....but also...strangely hilarious!

But it does have to do with decades of corruption. Which is what I was responding too.

AND, republicans ..even the decent one...….(if there is such a thing), support the corruption and racism this party dishes out.

No decent human being would support such a party....….just saying

Thank you.

I can't see how one can be "decent" and support such hate?

There are "decent" people on this board who claim to hate dump but would still vote for the republican party tomorrow.

I can't wrap my head around that.

Worse, he was an American leftist, keeping-up with ideological tradition.

Do American leftists have an ideological tradition of supporting rightwing authoritarian regimes in Moscow?

Back when Adlai Stevenson was running against Eisenhower, the Soviets decided they marginally preferred him to Ike, and asked what they could do to help his campaign. He ignored them and informed the authorities.

I think I see where those Russians went wrong! They should have pretended they were rightists.

me either, and that old "voters automatically do a party-line ballot" claim to explain this GOP Trump support doesn't hold water.........this guy is CLEARLY a grifter and witting/unwitting traitor to his country

I think it's 'witting' but either way it's horrific

Cheers.

I have relatives who are Republican, and unlike jpp.com conservatives who would leap at the chance to lick Trump's boots - they actually say Trump is utterly despicable. I never asked, but it's possible some of them voted third party.

But what I think happens, is that there are teabaggers and wingnuts who desparately cling to the premise "Sure Trump is bad....but Hillary would have been even worse!"

That kind of logic is obviously based on self-deception, self-delusion, and could only be uttered by someone who is perfectly comfortable indulging in intellectual dishonesty and self-humiliation.

Stone was a leader in Nixon's 72 campaign. That ended in a president fleeing the white house in shame. Stone may be 2 for 2. He has a face of Nixon tattooed on his back.
Trump figured that is my kind of guy. In the Stone indictment, the Trump campaign is mentioned 28 times. There are 6 Trumpers indicted and 5 found guilty so far. Sorry people, but that is not acceptable. You can be sure there is lots more coming out. This was a criminal campign opening the door to a criminal administration.
