Rolling Stone and the Boston Bomber Cover

I think we can all agree that glamorizing a Terrorist as Rolling Stone did here is in extremely poor taste.

Many communities are pulling the Magazine and not allowing it's sale.

I say good for them. My local 7-11 pulled it already.

I have not seen the picture.

I don't really care.

I do care that the families and surviving victims care.

the mag should have checked to see what they would feel before they went ahead

ROFL

total non-issue. the whole premise is "how did a seemingly normal dude become a terrorist"

the story is about him. they used a picture of him. who cares.

God I wish you wouldn't do this, here I am agreeing with again!! I really have gone over to the dark side as Zappa put it.

Our hearts go out to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing, and our thoughts are always with them and their families. The cover story we are publishing this week falls within the traditions of journalism and Rolling Stone’s long-standing commitment to serious and thoughtful coverage of the most important political and cultural issues of our day. The fact that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is young, and in the same age group as many of our readers, makes it all the more important for us to examine the complexities of this issue and gain a more complete understanding of how a tragedy like this happens. –THE EDITORS
