Romney's (LOL) legacy

The former Governor Mitt Romney touts the virtues of anti-abortion, anti-homosexual and other conservative positions. Governor Mitt Romney also champions defense, professes faith in the Christian God, and speak well in sound bites. The former Governor of Massachusetts is a polished presidential candidate.

Underneath the polish, however, Mitt Romney is a man who hasn't walked his talk and even walked contrary to his talk.

Mitt Romney's pro-life and anti-homosexual marriage positions date back only to 2006, prior to which he consistently supported abortion and homosexual rights. While he claims that his conversion to social conservatism at 57 years of age is genuine, it happens to coincide with his consideration to seek the 2008 Republican nomination for President.

Mitt Romney has neither foreign policy nor defense experience to support his claimed strength on defense, and even the sincerity of that claim rests on thin ice. When his friends went to war in Vietnam, Romney went to France instead. When his neighbors sent their sons to Iraq, all five of Romney's sons stayed home.

Mitt Romney professes faith in the Christian God and describes his Mormon church as just another church down the street. In reality, it is a "church" that teaches Jesus and Satan are brothers, Jesus wasn't always God, and humans can become God.

Mitt Romney's claims of social conservatism, strength on defense and faith in the Christian God share a common thread; they are carefully crafted and polished fabrications.

Mitt Romney has proven that he will say anything to get elected. He speaks from calculation instead of conviction, and if he were to win the Republican nomination, he is as likely to betray the conservatives in the general election as he already has betrayed the liberals.

America deserves better and must give Mitt Romney a wide berth.

Even far-right religious kooks see through multimillionaire Mittzie's BS.

Here's a HuffPo story for Blabo to deny:

[h=1]Romney's Job Growth Record -- Worse than Obama and Carter's[/h]Romney's sole claim to the presidency is that his business experience will enable him to accelerate job growth in America.

The GOP debates revealed that Romney was a failure as governor, with Massachusetts 47th in the nation in job growth...

But, let us talk less about rankings, and more about actual jobs.

What is that story? Again, for Romney it is dismal.

During Romney's four years as Governor of Massachusetts, he added 61,000 new jobs. At the time, Massachusetts had 2.5 percent of the nation's population.

Thus, extrapolated to the nation as a whole, Romney would have added 2.4 million jobs. In four years.

During the first three years of President Obama's Administration, 4.1 million new private-sector jobs have been added.

Romney's 2.4 million jobs is not quite 60 percent of President Obama's 4.1 million.

That is, President Obama has added 40 percent more jobs in absolute terms than Mitt Romney in ¾ of the time.

For the GOP if not ronmey then just who?

Exactly. Thankyou.
The GOP has completely lost it's way. No candidate can win the nomination by being truthful. This is very sad, and it can't be more than a matter of time before enough voters wake up (come to) and vote their own best interests, rather than those of the 1%, the only people the GOP's policies help.

When your unemployment rate is under 5% for almost your entire time as governor, you don't need to create more jobs....

Thats a hell of a lot better than Obama.......

Do you understand what being 47th in the country means Bravo? Especialy for a state like Mass, a world leader in technology, health and education? Why are you so fucking ignorant Bravo?

Poor Blabo.

hard to have job creation when everyone in mass is already elite and has jobs. We aren't one of your loser states.

I would like to see just exactly what that 47th ranking actually meant. for some odd reason I don't think it means the same as if it were Mississippi or Alabama with many in this crowd.

LOL, so now that multimillionaire Mittzie's lies about being a job creator have been exposed, righties claim that Mass didn't need any jobs?

It is?

He governed Massachusetts at a time of economic improvement, and he didn't do that well when compared with other states. Obama took office when the economy was tanking.

Massachusetts had a net job growth of 1.4 percent under Romney. However, that was far slower growth than the national average of 5.3%.

it's apples to oranges. we aren't poor proles where you can just open up a toothbrush factory and get thousands of people to work for minimum wage. Massachusetts residents are educated, and already employed.

So when Mittzie claims he created jobs in Mass, you claim they weren't really needed?
