Romney's Plan

Romney is STILL spreading the lie about Obama cutting Medicare by 716 Billion to pay for Obamacare?

That's because it's not a lie. It's a fact, supported by the actual legislation itself, which any American can go read if they want to wade through the 2,000 pages to find it. It is worded in such a way that Nancy Pelosi idiots of the world, can twist into a "savings" that is to be realized from the glory and wonder of Obamacare, but the money is being physically taken out of Medicare to pay for Obamacare, plain and simple. We already know, since we now see because we passed it, Nancy, that what is in Obamacare spells disaster for Medicare patients. Doctors and hospitals will simply start refusing to accept them, and if you try to force them, will close down. Obamacare mandates cuts in the amount Medicare pays for various services, but these already-established services and prices are on the low end of the physician's ability to do as it is. If you cut the rate paid, they can't perform the services anymore. Romney conservatively said 25%, but I've heard as high as 60% of the physicians who say they will either stop taking Medicare patients or take down their shingles. The "scheme" won't work, by which this supposed "savings" is going to transpire, and the result will be the complete loss of 716 billion, if not MORE, Medicare dollars.

Spin that whatever way you like to American voters, that is the "fact checked" truth of the matter.

the funny thing is, Obama's been president for four years and still people know more about Romney's plan than they do Obama's...........

Unless a viable 3rd party candidate emerges, yes, Obama will get my vote. He's been a disappointment, but he is far less despicable than Romney.

See above.

Thats a girl.....I didn't want to label you a pinhead until you actually proved you are one....thanks, pinhead.

It's 8 pages, Howey. A bit more convoluted than "Hope and Change" or "Eat the Rich". I believe there are actually 59 points to the whole plan. I haven't seen them, and I don't care. Got to be better than what's going on now. And he did give the condensed 5-point version in the debate. You can't put the entire plan out there in a 2 minute debate format anyway.

He doesn't put it out in campaign stops, either. If he actually put it out anywhere we'd be discussing those points, not wondering where he's keeping them.

Right? But I'm a pinhead. :rofl2:

I know. Pretty sick, huh.

Calling someone despicable out of the blue for no valid reason is not a rational argument for anything....

What about him do you consider despicable ? What about the guy is morally reprehensible or vile....

Hes a better person than you two could ever hope to be....he does more good for people and helps more people through charity in a year than you will if you lived two lifetimes.....

You calling him that is whats despicable and vile....

I give you facts you can't refute and I'm an idiot for that....you're both pinheads and it shows....

He decimated livelihoods with his vulture capitalism and he has no sensitivity or compassion for his own pet dog.

Both are clear demonstrations of sociopathy. It takes a sociopath to build a fortune by destroying others' lives, and then being proud of it.

The Seamus story is a frightening example of his ability to disconnect.

The man's despicable.

Anything else?

Tell me, do you know what Obama's Co-Chair (Mayor Federico Pena) does for a living?

Interesting, do you think you should hire one to be your co-chair?

Laughable. Which one of them knows what dog tastes like, and would you rather be Seamus or eaten? A bit of reality: His philanthropic donations alone are a sign of his ability to connect.

How old was Obama when he ate dog?

That's the best you can do?

G'night Damo.

So lame its silly to defend....a dog in a wind protected carrier is considered mistreatment ?....what a load of bs....all dogs get more of a breeze than that with their heads constantly out window or riding in the backs of pickup trucks as they been since the invention of the pickup.....as a matter of fact, they love it....
Your so pitifully lame its actually sad and crime to let a moron like you vote....

You asked, I answered. Twist it however you must, Bravo.

Goodnight. Even when I was 5 I knew I wouldn't eat a dog. But that's okay, it was an example of the silliness of current political "debate"...

If this is Romney at his worst, then he's doing pretty darned well. I might see it being worse had he killed the dog rather than take him on the vacation.

Within that 8 pages of criticism of Obama is half a page of the following talking points and no specifics.

That's it. Written, btw, by five paid advisors to Romney.

Now...those talking points have been out for a while and have been thoroughly debunked by the Tax Policy Center who find that Romney's plan will decrease taxes on the rich and raise them on the middle class:

So...still no concrete specifics. Sorry. And before you scream the Tax Policy Institute is a liberal this or that (it's not, it's politically neutral), here's PolitiFact's take:

And here's Fact Check:

You want "specifics"? Ironic, because I'd like some some "specifics" from obama, too. And you get them from a little thing we like to call a "budget". Have you ever seen a budget for the United States, Howey?(well, I obviously don't mean within the last 3 years, of course. We all know obama's aversion to budgets!). I'll give you a hint: It comes in a book thicker than the obamacare bill. Armed with this wisdom, you now have two options:
1) Write or call your congressman and suggest they return to D.C., slap a budget together, get obama to sign it, and then you can order a copy from the guvmint printing orifice. Hurry! Only 32 days!
Or 2) Let's see if romney wins. You will most likely get a budget very quickly! Then you can be certain you will be up to your eyeballs in specifics.

Laughable. We've now degenerated to defending a grown man for strapping a dog to a car by criticizing an eight year old boy tasting dog in a foreign land whose culture allows it.

One is a sign of incompetent negligense and heartless inhumane treatment and the other is a stunning ignorace and bigotry directed towards another culture.

Compelling!

Btw...I understand Romney ate rocky mountain oysters while in Denver and had Big Bird strapped to the top of his jet when he left.
