Rosanne gets the ax!

BC has cancelled its hit reboot of Roseanne following her racist tweet about former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.

ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey says the comment “is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel the show.”

The Roseanne revival this spring was an unexpected major hit for ABC. It was particularly popular among many conservative viewers because Barr’s character expressed support for President Donald Trump.

Barr’s tweet suggested that Jarrett is a product of the Muslim brotherhood and the Planet of the Apes.

She later apologized “for making a bad joke.”

Surprise it had high ratings. But she tweeted if Muslim brotherhood had a baby with Planet of the Apes, it would produce Valarie Jarret.

It was crude and not funny.

Poor ABC; they have to deal with the social media mob and lose a number one show. I am sure someone with brains will pick it up.

The rebooted comedy debuted its nine-episode run midseason and finished as the TV season's No. 1 scripted series on all of broadcast.

Of course, race hustlers hate anyone who doesn't kowtow to their race hustling agenda so they are happy ABC has their heads up their butts.

A few notes:

1. Valerie Jarrett was born in Iran to African-American parents at a time when Iran was our ally. Her father worked as a charity doctor there for about 5 years after her birth, then she moved back to the west.

2. She is not Muslim.

3. Regardless of whether "Islam is not a race", "Planet of the apes" is definitely a racist way to describe someone.

4. Muslim Brotherhood is a Sunni organization, even if she were Iranian she would not be in favor of it because she'd be Shi'a. But she's black, presumably Christian or secular, so that entire question is moot.

Roseanne is really stupid.. There is NO Muslim Brotherhood in Iran.

Crude? Welcome to Trump's world.

The president of ABC, Channing Dungey, is black, definitely not a good look to go talking about how someone's bloodline is "planet of the apes" when your boss is black. And she got cancelled over it. Sic semper racists.
