Racial segregation follows two forms. De jure segregation mandated the separation of races by law, and was the form imposed by slave codes before the Civil War and by Black Codes and Jim Crow laws following the war. De jure segregation was outlawed by the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and the Fair Housing Act of 1968.[11] In specific areas, however, segregation was barred earlier by the Warren Court in decisions such as the Brown v. Board of Education decision that overturned school segregation in the United States. De facto segregation, or segregation "in fact", is that which exists without sanction of the law. De facto segregation continues today in areas such as residential segregation and school segregation because of both contemporary behavior and the historical legacy of de jure segregation.[12]

I love history

And this history is never taught

When you do know the truth about history you repeat deadly mistakes

I am responsible for what I do, and what I do only....I am not responsible for what "whites" do or what the dead did....this sort of ignorant thinking we humans once hoped that we had grown beyond.

And here we are right back in the Dark Ages.

For the record growing up with an alcohilic dad with extreme anger issues and a mother with several screws loose was no picnic. I say that a vast majority of my privoledged life comes from a certified genius workaholic falling in love with me in 1985. She had the career, I had jobs, and I was a full time stay at home dad for ten years.

None of this has anything to do with race.
