Was he ever anything else?
Yes. @T. A. Gardner used to be reasonable. But he's weak-minded. So when he saw that Republicans did a 180 on all their principles he lost his mind.

Free trade? Nope - trump wants tariffs so now TA's all for tariffs.

1A? Not if news networks say anything critical of trump or Republicans.

2A? Not around ICE thugs. and best of all:

"Government tyranny". trump has created a literal secret police, an ICE army masked and no ID accountable only to him. Terry couldn't be more gleeful. Basically weak-minded folks like TA have allowed trump's evil to infect them and make them garbage people.

I think it accurate to call Terry, "a garbage person" now. And I'm not being hyperbolic.

He's declined over the past few years. I suspect early onset dementia.

Forgetting things you just learned

We all forget a random bit of trivia now and then, but with dementia, you have trouble retaining new information to a point where it impacts your life, says Caccappolo. Many friends and relatives notice this when a loved one starts to ask the same question over and over in the same conversation, or they are unable to remember the details of a TV show they just watched. It also becomes increasingly more difficult to learn new tasks, such as using a cell phone or a new computer program, even if the steps are clearly written down for them.

Problems managing money

One of the first line of questions Caccappolo asks her patients is, โ€œAre you still managing the household finances? Are you paying your bills on time? Have you paid any bills twice? Are you making errors when youโ€™re balancing your checkbook?โ€ People with dementia often have trouble with abstract thinking, like math, and are unable to follow the steps to do a task like paying a bill. They may also make poor judgments about spending money or even giving it away.

Getting lost in familiar places

Memory loss and visual and spatial difficulties can lead to disorientation, causing people with dementia to get lost easily, even when walking or driving to places they have been to hundreds of times.

Confusion about time and day

When you eat breakfast, but then realize itโ€™s dinner time, or you canโ€™t remember the day of the week without looking at a calendar, that can be a sign of cognitive impairment. Caccappolo says patients who have more advanced dementia may get up in the middle of the night and get dressed. It may also become increasingly difficult to know what season or even what year it is.

Visuospatial issues

Atrophy in the part of the brain that processes visual information can lead to difficulties with visual perception, causing falls, difficulty driving safely, and problems judging distances and colors. This is different from visual problems due to changes in the health of the eyes, so always be sure to check in with your ophthalmologist as well.

Forgetting common words

In addition to forgetting names and being unable to retain new information, people with dementia may find themselves unable to come up with the word for a familiar object, like a watch or refrigerator; they also may stop in the middle of a sentence or not be able to carry on a conversation.

Constantly losing things

When a person without dementia misplaces their keys or the remote control, they can typically retrace their steps or think of all the logical places the object might be. But for a person with dementia, it can be difficult to take those deductive steps, leading to frustration, and frequently suspicion that the items were โ€œstolen.โ€

A lack of interest in reading

โ€œIn cognitive evaluations, I always ask, โ€˜Are you reading as much as you always did?โ€™โ€ says Caccappolo. She points out that people who used to love reading books find they canโ€™t follow the story or remember what came in the previous pages. โ€œA lot of people will say they can only read short articles nowโ€”itโ€™s especially noticeable with people who were really avid readers,โ€ she says.

Skipping social gatherings

When it becomes difficult to follow a conversation or remember the names of people you donโ€™t see every day, a person with dementia may start to withdraw from friends, and avoid parties or other events involving large groups of people.

Changes in personality

People with dementia may find themselves getting more irritable, having a lower tolerance for frustration, and crying moreโ€”โ€œeven men who never cried before in their life will cry,โ€ says Caccappolo. And sometimes it goes in the opposite direction. โ€œPeople who have difficult personalities or are very intense can sometimes become much more docile, almost sweeter,โ€ she adds.

Who is most at risk for dementia?

The number one risk factor for dementia is age, and it increases exponentially for each decade past age 60. Genetics also play a role; if you have a parent or sibling with dementia, you are somewhat more likely to develop it yourself.

Dementia also disproportionately affects women and communities of color: According to the Alzheimerโ€™s Association, about two-thirds of all people with dementia are women. Older Black and Hispanic Americans are up to two times as likely to develop dementia as older white Americans.

I still am. It's you with that terminal TDS that's changed.
Free trade? Nope - trump wants tariffs so now TA's all for tariffs.

I can see some tariffs, but blanket ones are no better than none and free trade.
1A? Not if news networks say anything critical of trump or Republicans.

It isn't the Republicans trying to quash free speech. Remember Biden and his "Disinformation Governance Board" with the Mary Poppins 'Disinformation czar' from Hell who wanted to stop any speech she disagreed with?

Show me where I talked about any of that.

It's not dementia. It's hate that's made him mentally ill. He's allowed it to fester which has driven him crazier with hate. How else can you explain such an about face on all conservative priniciples?

No. You're insane with hatred.

Weasel words to justify your 180 on free trade.

Even some Republicans now are pushing back against Brendan Carrs threatening of networks. Another one of your principles you've turned your back on. You're ok with limiting speech that makes you uncomfortable because you're a coward and a liar.

Free trade, government tyranny, illegal foreign wars - they're all somehow fine with you now.

You're a garbage human.

People don't hate without reason. Anger is an emotion but fear is the strongest, most basic emotion. MAGAts live in a world of fear which is why they are so susceptible to fearmongering. Their fears make them angry and their response is hatred.

This explains why all MAGAts are such ardent bigots against women, non-white people, non-English speaking people and, in short, anyone different than themselves. They live in fear and spread that fear through hatred of others.

I've never paid that much attention to him.

Always just sounded like a spouter of typical rwnj bullshit to me.

It's not "Christianity" that the left abhors.

It's a large portion of the low-minded jerks who claim membership in the club.

Too many of these a-holes talk the talk of being Christians but don't walk the walk.

You cannot be an avid trump supporter and a sincere, genuine Christian at the same time.

It's the phoniness and hypocrisy of these people, you included apparently, that the left points to and jeers at.

I am indeed a genuine Christian, and I do support our greatest American president Donald Trump.

Talk is cheap.

James 2:14-18
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, โ€œGo in peace, be warmed and filled,โ€ without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, โ€œYou have faith and I have works.โ€ Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
