Who cares? The war there is all but irrelevant to US politics. If anything, backing Ukraine drives Russia towards China. In a world with two superpowers--the US and China, the second tier powers become relevant with whom they are aligned. The US gains NOTHING backing Ukraine. The US doesn't have to back Russia either. It'd be best if we stayed out of this fight.
Russia won't accept Ukraine as a NATO member either. That's been made crystal clear. Belorussia is the same way.
Russia as a result of the West backing Ukraine has decided to grind Ukraine into so much hamburger. I can't say when this war will end, but it's almost certain that when it does, Ukraine will be a destitute nation with a serious lack of population regardless of other outcomes. Look at how Russia fought in Afghanistan or Chechnya. They will grind you down relentlessly until you can fight no more. Doesn't matter to them particularly if their own casualties are high either. They're in it to fight to a win, not a bloodless war.

Wrong. That's exactly the topic. If Trump were reelected, and he chose to end support for Ukraine, it wouldn't make a nickel's worth of difference to the US as a whole. Not a nickel's worth. No, Trump wouldn't back Russia either. We'd stay out of it, and that would be a good thing.
It's Biden that's fucking things up. He has more than 50 years of being on the wrong side of every US foreign policy decision we've made. He is a clueless retard and is dragging us into a war we have no business being in. It is very possible that his weakness as a president emboldened Putin to act. Putin had the means and time to start that war when Trump was in office, but he chose not to. Biden came to power and Putin acted.
Now, Biden is squandering hundreds of billions on a country that is as fucked up as Russia, and for what? We get nothing out of this regardless of the outcome. Ukraine doesn't join NATO, and neither Russia or Ukraine will be better off for having that war.
FYI ,Putin is hold the piss tape video over Trump's head!

He's already stated what he would do.
He has very good relationships with both leaders so he would tell Zenensky to make a deal and he would tell Putin that if he didn't make a deal that the US would fully back Ukraine.
The war would be over instantly.
