They weren't 'our' enemy until they meddled in our election. But they were the enemy of our allies, and we used to have a standing agreement to defend our allies. Granted....Ukraine wasn't in NATO, so we had no standing to address Russia militarily.

So we simply put sanctions on them, along with the cooperation of our allies. Those sanctions should stay in place, until Russia understands that they aren't allowed to invade sovereign nations. Only the U.S. is allowed to do that.

Except that 'Russianism' is actually a thing, and Birtherism is a dogwhistle to people who think Obama was born in Africa. One has substance, based on facts and evidence, and the other is a remnant of racism, driven by rank partisanship.
