Yes Magats you heard that right. As Jack Smiths noose tightens around Trump for Election Interference, Trump has now turned to new defense. That is that he acted in good faith, knowing that Russia had acted to interfere in the 2016 and thus he felt he had to act to protect this elections from further Russia and other interference.

Trump is subpoena all the gov't records re Russia interference and the Congress work on congressional to prove Russia interference and, again, thus Trupo was acting from genuine concern.

This is similar to how Trump argued Comey was right to release the info on Hillary prior to the election and when he first came to power, but then when he wanted to fire him, he then argued Comey was wrong.

So Magats enjoy now having to pivot and argue Russia did interfere or be at odds with your Orange Jesus.

He has taken the opposite position of you derps here that Russia did interfere and he is saying he will prove it in this trial to show his intent to find 'Russian election interference' was a valid concern, since it happened before. He is saying he is not guilty of any bad intent as he knew Russia had interfered in 2016 and he was just searching for it, as a POTUS should, to protect the 2020 election.
