IMO boycotts are an expression of opinion and therefore are part of the various freedoms protected by the Constitution. That being said, there is a difference between boycotting a product because you dislike the company's stance on something, and boycotting it because you're a fucking bigot who hates LGBTQ ppl, people of color, or people belonging to a particular religion.
Too me boycotts are only worth it when there's a product or service issue. For instance, I never felt the need to boycott Chick-fil-a, or Jimmy John's. I instead will reward for extra mile stuff.
