I remember when Care4all was telling us that Dixie was a handsome Tom Selleck wannabe....

The mental picture of Tom Selleck just makes me wanna puke...

Wow, I am so sorry I don't appeal to you CK, although I do look stunning in a pair of jeans! Maybe Robdawg is more your type? Hey... it's okay though, I realize I don't appeal to everyone, and I am okay with it. You probably have hairy legs anywayz... lol

haha

Now Dixie's claiming before Palin he didn't know how he was going to vote.

I could have told you for which ticket Dixie was going to vote this election six years ago.

You can certainly think what you like, my threads are part of the public record here, and you will find I have been very cold toward McCain since... well, forever! I laughed at some of my right-wing brethren when they suggested back in 2004, that McCain would be the Republican nominee. I seriously didn't think he stood a chance in hell of winning the party nomination. I have posted thread after thread, calling him a flat out LIBERAL for the things he has done, from Campaign Finance Reform, to the Gang of 14. Go do the research on it, if you don't believe me. I am not, nor ever have been, a huge McCain fan. I'm still not a McCain fan, and up until he nominated Palin, had no idea of who I was going to vote for... I was actually considering voting for Barr, since I know him personally. I wasn't going to vote for Obama, that I knew for certain, but I was really struggling with the decision, and was clearly undecided at the time of Palin's nomination.

She sealed the deal for me! In researching her background, I found myself in total agreement with everything she has done, and everything she supports doing. That is rare for me, I can usually find fault with any politician, including Bush. (contrary to what you may think.) Palin transcends politics for me, she is a real American, with real American values, and she isn't afraid to stand up to the 'establishment' and do the right thing. She has the same unique qualities as Ronald Reagan, in that, she appeals to Conservative values and makes a compelling and strong argument for her convictions. She is exactly what the Republican party needed and was missing, in my opinion, and we will undoubtedly see her become President some day.

LOL

Lets see, IBI is the white guy with the black girlfriend, I wonder how he is going to vote??? Anybody care to guess?

"She has given one speech"

I thought that used to be a bad thing in this campaign.

Being a rock star/celebrity with no long record of accomplishment also used to be a bad thing.

It's funny how fast things change like that.

A speech written for the generic VP and later feminized for Palin...her voice is too high for my listening pleasure. I like a lower timbre. Just my musical ear is all.

Welp... AS I predicted, the Pinheads are back for Round 2, with a fresh new batch of manure to throw at Sarah Barracuda. Seems they just can't find anything that will stick, darnit! People love her, and no matter what they throw out there, it's just not working to slow this growing momentum. Forget about Biden, it's been a week, and already the Pinheads are having to defend their candidate Obama against her experience!

Yes, it's really starting to sink in, isn't it? Oh, I don't expect you to admit it now, you are all still in battle mode, trying to destroy her, but you know, don't you? You see the writing on the wall, and there is nothing you can do to stop it, is there? In just a week, Palin has energized the Conservative base, and awoken a sleeping giant, one you weren't expecting to have to encounter in your run for the presidency. Obama is changing his entire campaign strategy because of Palin, and it will be interesting to see if ANYTHING will work now. I frankly don't think you guys stand a prayer, but we'll see.

My suggestion would be, stop attacking her personally, it's not winning you any points, and it's probably turning people against you more than it's making you feel good. Just refrain from it, don't bring her family and kids into it, lay off of that shit, and stop it. You preached to us about not going after Michelle Obama, and for the most part, we have respected that. Now is the time you need to not be hypocrites and show some class and principle. Besides, you have some debates to get ready for soon!

There are some crucial issues in this election, and if you guys continue to waste your time trying to gin up some National Enquirer type 'scandal' involving Palin, it is not going to work, and you will have wasted precious time you could have been addressing these issues. Yes... I know, your #1 issue is getting Obama elected, but it's looking like that might not be happening now, so you can either come back and focus on the issues and try to make a race out of it, or you continue out in left field, trying desperately to come up with SOMETHING to damage Palin with. So far, that hasn't been going well for ya. But hey... you Pinheads do what you like, I am just tickled to get to watch this. What's going to blow up in your face next?

You cons do love your little nicknames, hey Brownie?

He isn't smuggling yoyos, that is a bad sign...

Ahhh... so now we see the propaganda heavyweights return... Desh and Darla typing their little fingers off, armed with fresh (or not so fresh) attacks on Sarah Barracuda today. We are still in the 'shock/denial' phase of grief, but you can already imagine what the 'anger' phase will be like.

So far, the tangible things they have found to throw up on Palin, is the fact she accepted Federal money for her state... duh, that's what a governor is supposed to do... and even though it was for a 'bridge to nowhere', and widely considered 'pork', it was approved in Congress with support of the votes from Joe Biden and Barak Obama. Palin did not have a Congressional vote on the matter, but McCain opposed it.

The other issue is concerning Palin's firing of the state troopers director, who refused to fire a corrupt out of control cop, which just happened to be Palin's brother-in-law. Personally, I think this non-story is getting little coverage because people think it's old news. In their haste to gin up some controversy over Palin, they failed to follow protocol on scandal naming, and started calling it "Troopergate" ...which we all know, has been used before. It was the scandal involving the Clinton's and the firing of Arkansas state troopers who revealed some of Bill's extra-marital affairs.

Well, at least they stopped attacking her pregnant daughter and down's syndrome child, ....for now... we haven't entered the 'anger' phase yet.

Interesting to note that I have seen a couple of right wingers back on here I had not seen in a long time.

Really? Who's that? I haven't noticed.

I have noticed pinheads in shock, or away surfing the web for dirt on Palin the past few days. You have to all go to your assorted left-wing blogs and get your marching orders from MoveOn.org and George Soros, I understand. I know you weren't expecting a Barracuda attack in the midst of your little celebration of victory you were having.

I think some of you are still in denial, you think this is going to go away and the polls will all stabilize and your guy will still win in November. Frankly, I don't think you have the numbers to win. I think you're done.

...But this is fun to watch!! :cof1:

I doubt you're having that much fun, Dix. They've got your VP Messiah sequestered from the evil press indefinitely, or until they can teach her enough to actually trust her to speak off the cuff.

In the meantime, she's already repeated the "community organizer" line 3 times that I've seen, to ever diminishing laughter.

"The future of the party"...now, THAT is fun....

Sequestered? Hell, Oprah refused to have her on the show! She was ready to go! Oprah said No! LOL...but we've got her sequestered? wtf?

Why will Obama not go on Rush, or Hannity? George Soros has him sequestered?

Palin is more like Bush than McCain is.
That is why the right wingnuts love her.

LOL... So now we've abandoned "McSame" and "McBush" huh?

Now McCain and Bush are not as much alike as Sarah Palin and Bush. You might be entering the 'bartering' phase of grief, which is a good sign, it brings you closer to 'acceptance.'

Palin took on her own party, beat the incumbent Republican governor, and brought the law down on corruption in the republican-controlled establishment in Alaska. Bush cow-towed to Texas Blue-Dog Democrats, and managed to get them to like him. They are nothing alike, politically speaking. They are both Social Conservatives, and so is McCain... is that what you meant to say?

Maybe it's the jeans thing you seemed to misunderstand... Bush is comfortable doing interviews in jeans, Palin looks dreamy in them. ...hehe :)
