Sorry, I burned out on SNL some years ago. The writing is just not that good.

I must give credit to Adam Sandler for the funniest thing I ever saw on SNL. I work in an industry with a lot of Jewish people, and you just have to appreciate their sense of humor! Not everyone can laugh at themselves like these folks. And, there is a bit of a message here too. Enjoy the clip!

There are a few good things on the news. The girl you wish you hadn't started a conversation with at a party and drunk uncle are good.
Justin Beiber was funny in one thing this last week. I found it amusing when he was doing those stupid gestures with his hands. Then he almost got whacked by the mic and stood there like a douche. That was hillarious.
Honestly, I think he gave Steven Seagal competition for worst host ever. But then Seagal did not try to sing any songs.

I watch it casually too. It's sketch comedy, not everything is going to be that funny. Usually, the season will start strong and then get a little weak by the end but there are also ebbs and flows based on what's going on in the world.
I find it funny when every new generation of it is dismissed as the new cast is no good and, even better, it has become too political. The criticisms seem older and more stale than the show somehow.
It's just as bad and as good as it always was.

I read they don't let Bill Hader read the cue cards til he's live on the set, and that's why he's always cracking himself and Seth up during the skit.
