The American, uneducated, gun nut, right winger, who is afraid of change, is already a very small minority in the world. (unfortunately they do wield so much disproportionate power) And that minority is getting smaller. Oh, you may win one or two more elections but in 100 years there won't be a 'conservative' party...because everything you stand for is wrong and people know it. Hopefully there will be more than two political parties and I would like to think that at least one of them is truly progressive.

ps. some may not know this but 22% of Californians are registered Republicans. That's not even a quarter! And we have 30 million people in this state.

It should work in the House elections. Most house seats have been gerrymandered into rural districts where this will play well and they do represent the majority of congressional districts but those districts only represent a third of the national population.

Eventually Republicans will have to govern and that's the problem for them. They can only govern from the extreme right with policies that the vast majority of the American population opposes.

No. In terms of a political scandal it's right up there with Whitewater simply because there's not scandal there.

It's all just an attempt by the GOP in congress from living up to their responsibilities and governing instead of just being obtstructionist. This will jump up and bit the GOP in the ass....just you wait and see.

Funny.....that's what most of us are thinking about you. Republicans have no evidence, as in NONE WHAT SO EVER, that Obama has been involved in either a cover up or directly ordered actions which contravene the law. You have none, zero, zilch, nada....ergo.....NO SCANDAL.

Though these are serious incidents in governance that must be taken seriously you have absolutely no evidence what so ever that the President was involved in any inappropriate acts.

So it boils down to a bunch a Republicans blowing hot air and not doing any governing.....which is what they are trying to avoid cause any right wing legislative agendas are going to make them far more unpopular than they all ready are.

No doubt that it adds up to more problems for Obamacare.

just curious, but what does that have to do with what he stated?

For the record, I think the majority of this board was alive and remembers Iran Contra and the US's failing relationship with Ortega (which in turn led to the support of the Contra's)

The point is that it turned into a huge heap of nothing because there was no evidence to connect Reagan or Bush to the scandal. Much like what is going to happen in your triple "scandal" assault.

Bush went on to get elected, just like Clinton will do.
