No, it is to carry on spending until it runs out. Republicans demanded we give up subsidies for 22 million Americans health coverage, for one month of continued budget. That month is almost up.

The continuing resolution lasted for one month, from October 1st to October 31st. If it had been passed, we would need a new one today.

And Republicans would be demanding even more cuts to allow the government to be open for another month.
