Science doesn't know everything

I don't believe in god PERIOD .. so why in the fuck would I believe your fairy-tale is created in my image?

Because you are consistently trying to apply your sick twisted human attributes to the intents of God. Like you just did. If you don't believe in God, why are you forming arguments based on God's word to condemn him? That doesn't make much sense to me.

:lmao:

Surely that stupid shit had to hurt leaking out of your brain.

CAPTURE young virgin girls .. MURDER their parents .. give them to grown men as booty .. but no rape will occur.

:lmao:

Exactly what did you think they intended to do with them?

And divide the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation:

... wow

they could take them in as family....there is absolutely nothing in there about rape or a command to do so...

thanks for proving the bible never said what you claimed...you have to interpret your own sick thoughts into what the bible is saying....you flat out lied today...you of all people....

sad really

The fact that it doesn't make sense to you is a plus for my side.

I posted the words of the bible AND it doesn't take genius to know that the soldiers didn't capture VIRGINS to teach them water aerobics.

You don't even have honesty in your argument.

Why would I care that it doesn't make sense to you?

Typically stupid as fuck answer.

You "believers" aren't even honest people.

Question: is rape foreign to the bible?

Ahh, before you answer that perhaps you'd best check google .. given that you didn't even know the story of the Midianites.

Why would I care that you would care?

Why would I care that you would care?

Do you care .. or even know about this ...

So they sent twelve thousand warriors to Jabesh-gilead with orders to kill everyone there, including women and children. "This is what you are to do," they said. "Completely destroy all the males and every woman who is not a virgin." Among the residents of Jabesh-gilead they found four hundred young virgins who had never slept with a man, and they brought them to the camp at Shiloh in the land of Canaan.

The Israelite assembly sent a peace delegation to the little remnant of Benjamin who were living at the rock of Rimmon. Then the men of Benjamin returned to their homes, and the four hundred women of Jabesh-gilead who were spared were given to them as wives. But there were not enough women for all of them. The people felt sorry for Benjamin because the LORD had left this gap in the tribes of Israel. So the Israelite leaders asked, "How can we find wives for the few who remain, since all the women of the tribe of Benjamin are dead? There must be heirs for the survivors so that an entire tribe of Israel will not be lost forever. But we cannot give them our own daughters in marriage because we have sworn with a solemn oath that anyone who does this will fall under God's curse."

Then they thought of the annual festival of the LORD held in Shiloh, between Lebonah and Bethel, along the east side of the road that goes from Bethel to Shechem. They told the men of Benjamin who still needed wives, "Go and hide in the vineyards. When the women of Shiloh come out for their dances, rush out from the vineyards, and each of you can take one of them home to be your wife! And when their fathers and brothers come to us in protest, we will tell them, 'Please be understanding. Let them have your daughters, for we didn't find enough wives for them when we destroyed Jabesh-gilead. And you are not guilty of breaking the vow since you did not give your daughters in marriage to them.'" So the men of Benjamin did as they were told. They kidnapped the women who took part in the celebration and carried them off to the land of their own inheritance. Then they rebuilt their towns and lived in them. So the assembly of Israel departed by tribes and families, and they returned to their own homes.
Judges 21:10-24 NLT

I know .. its just me projecting that sees that as RAPE.

How about this ...

If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.
Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT

I know, he paid her so that's not RAPE.

How about this sick bullshit ...

As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you.
Deuteronomy 20:10-14

How about this demonic shit ...

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment.
Exodus 21:7-11 NLT

I could go on and on with really sick ass shit from the bible .. including when a gang follows a man and his male guest home and cry out "Send the man out so we can have sex with him" .. but the sick bastard sends his daughter out instead.

Any takers?

Am I lying?

Don't you people even know the damn bible?

dude....what is wrong with you...i told you i was familiar with that story...,just not your false version of it....how many more lies are you going to peddle today? this isnt' like you.

you said god sent his armies to rape

completely different than rape being in the bible...its obvious your attempt at proof with your little verse failed so now you'll just act like ib1, call everyone stupid or a retard and proclaim yourself the winner

pathetic and boring

Unintelligent and unlearned.

see the post above yours .. not rape?

BAC, I am not a "religious" person, and I have very limited understanding of The Bible and religious beliefs surrounding it. I am admittedly not the right person to argue Scripture with you, and honestly, even if I were, I don't understand the point... you don't believe in God or the Scripture, so what is your point? That you can refute something you don't believe in? Great! I can do the same thing... I hereby refute the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus! Wow, I don't feel any different than before!

it doesn't take genius to know that the soldiers didn't capture VIRGINS to teach them water aerobics.

no but it takes a sick lying bastard to claim that God ordered them to rape.....we're talking about your projections, not scripture at this point....

so, just admit your a sick lying bastard and we're done with it....

Unintelligent and unlearned.

see the post above yours .. not rape?

you are a flat out liar....there is no command to rape

period....talking about people committing the sin of rape is not the same thing as god commanding it. you have not shown one single verse to substiantiate your sick claim

you lied and all your lame insults will not change that

I don't know about the rape, but god did order his followers to kill all who did not fleee before them. Including women and children. Better to be raped and alive or just dead?

that is really funny coming from one who believes in science which itself cannot prove everything

i don't have to shut up or prove anything to you...i was asking you questions and you get all pissy....

seems you can't disprove god exists, so i was curious as to why you are so certain....hit a nerve eh

Just because one cannot prove something does not exist does not mean it does exist.

I actually leans in the direction that something does not exist.

Not really, if you are totally objective, it leans in neither direction. However, there is immeasurable proof that something greater than mankind exists. The proof is all around us in the form of the magnificent and wondrous life we have witnessed, just here on our own planet. It's truly an amazing spectacle to behold, and there doesn't seem to be any rational 'scientific' explanation for it. Oh, yeah, I guess we could all suppose it just happened all by chance and 'evolved' into existence over time, but that still doesn't answer the question of why.... what made it happen... what caused it?

Even if we objectively evaluate the very core principles of science theory regarding our origin. The Big Bang... subatomic matter exploded and created a universe full of life-teaming matter? Hmmm... doesn't sound like something that would just randomly happen by chance for no reason, since we know and understand physics and the whole "for every action" thing, does it? Matter doesn't create matter, or at least not as far as we can comprehend with humanly physics and science. So two profound questions remain, what caused it to happen, and why? We don't know an answer, we can't even speculate a plausible answer, because the only answer that makes any logical sense is that it's the work of an intelligent force beyond our ability to comprehend.

So you see, from THAT perspective, it is ludicrous to believe there ISN'T a Creator.

Umm didn't that say that because the universe exists that it is proof that god exists?

To be an intellectually honest atheist one must fully embrace nihilism.
