How do you think the court will rule on the "presidential immunity" case? I'm thinking they'll rule against the mango menace.
I predicted this in a different thread... but I don't mind reiterating. I think they will rule that there is a qualified immunity that applies to actions taken as part of the job but not actions taken as part of a campaign. They will then throw it back to the lower courts to have hearings on what is and isn't actions taken as part of the job. This will leave things open for things like Trump attorneys arguing that (guessing here) Trump truly believed that the electors were false and as his oath required he worked to "protect the constitution" and that the actions were taken as President...
Courts will rule, that will then be appealed and due to this kind of back and forth this trial will be pushed well past the election date, this will mean that the only way we'll actually have a trial on this is if Trump loses yet again to the basement dwelling dementia patient (or possibly the Democrats go sane suddenly and push someone with a working brain to run against Trump and he loses to whomever they've crowned as the new nominee).
