Funding for a wall and funding government operations are two different issues. The Dems have passed legislation to fund government operations. But your great “deal maker” can’t seem to be able to make a deal on the wall alone, can he?

Trump is using the fed employees as a hostage to get his wall because he does not have the political clout. Trump could open the government overnight. He has decided not to, even though he said he would sign the CR the house and senate passed. Trump changes his mind like a teen age girl.
