Sean Hannity...propaganda minister

Awww man, I thought that oh so truthful site and of course no bullshit propaganda of mediamatters, had Rush Limbaugh as top propaganda-minister..He'll be sad to know that Shaun Hannity has now taken over that spot..

I know just how you feel....remember the pinheads that heard the words, Al Queda, Iraq, Saddam and 9/11 in the same speech and for the next few years claimed that Bush said Saddam, leader of Iraq, along with Al Queda pulled off 9/11 terror attack.....:pke:

For your education:

On November 7, 2002, President Bush said that Saddam Hussein” is a threat because he is dealing with Al Qaeda. . . . A true threat facing our country is that an Al Qaeda-type network trained and armed by Saddam could attack America and not leave one fingerprint.”

“Saddam Hussein aids and protects terrorists, including members of Al Qaeda” (2003 SOU)

The 9-11 Commission found “no credible evidence of a collaborative relationship between Iraq and Al Qaeda.” The Commission stressed that “it had access to the same information [that Vice President Cheney] has seen regarding contacts between Al Qaeda and Iraq prior to the 9/11 attacks.” --Marquis – New York Times 01.09.04; Sirota & Harvey – In These Times 08.03.04; CAP Progress Report 07.07.04
-------------------------
In his October 7, 2002 address to the nation, Bush Iraq-Al Qaeda connections “go back a decade.”

A CIA report found that there were some contacts between Iraq and bin Laden in the early 1990s (when Al Qaeda was in its infancy), the report concluded that the early contacts had not led to any continuing high-level relationships. --- Pincus – Washington Post 06.22.03); Axheswe – Los Angeles Times 07.10.03

In his October 29, 2003, President Bush has tried to revive the false link between 9-11 and Iraq claiming that the suicide bombers in Iraq were “probably both Ba’athists and foreign terrorists”, explaining that “it’s the same mentality, by the way, that attacked us . . . on September 11th, 2001. . . . And Iraq is a central part of the war on terror.”

There is no evidence of any link between 9-11 and Iraq. In addition, reports indicate that most, if not all, of the suicide bombers were neither Ba’athists nor foreigners but were simply Iraqi resistance fighters. --- Institute for Public Accuracy 10.29.03

well it must be true, since you post these from some of most liberal rags there are..
I notice you're a big fan of that propaganda site for the Democrats, mediamatters

Plenty of Cheny quotes about the linkage between AQ and Iraq out there too. He was actually the one that talked it up the most.

And Fox just echoed them all as proven fact.

No wonder you right wing pea brains hate President Obama; you're being spoon fed lies and propaganda from right wing scum bags like Sean Hannity...

On the June 4 edition of his Fox News show, Sean Hannity stated that in his June 4 speech in Cairo, President Obama "decided to give 9-11 sympathizers a voice on the world stage," then aired a cropped video clip of Obama saying, "I am aware that there are still some that would question or even justify the events of 9-11."

However, the context of Obama's comments makes clear that Obama was condemning those who would "justify the events of 9-11"; immediately following the clip Hannity showed, Obama stated:

But let us be clear: Al Qaeda killed nearly 3,000 people on that day. The victims were innocent men, women and children from America and many other nations who had done nothing to harm anybody. And yet al Qaeda chose to ruthlessly murder these people, claimed credit for the attack, and even now states their determination to kill on a massive scale. They have affiliates in many countries and are trying to expand their reach. These are not opinions to be debated; these are facts to be dealt with.

I think what Conservatives like abut Hannity is that he's such a complete moron that he drives rational people up a wall. Contrary conservatives like SM and Dixie just get a big kick out of that. Best solution, ignore the moron. Eventually he'll go away.

Taking someones word's way out of context and then responding to an argument that they didn't make is douchebaggery hackichness 101.
It's the classic strawman argument. Take someones comment out of context then misrepresent what they mean. Hannity is a punk ass kid compared to the King of Strawmen, Rush Limbaugh.

Since 2001 I've been telling you neocon parrots to READ CAREFULLY AND COMPREHENSIVELY before your fingers hit the keys.

The quotes from the Shrub were recorded in his State of the Union addresses and "addressing the nation" broadcasts that were either TV and/or radio broadcast. The Contrary Facts were sourced from the likes of the Washington Post, the NY Times and the LA Times. That you automatically shut your eyes when you read the name of the site is typical of the willfully ignorant. It's easier for folk like you to call names and demonize others, that way you don't have to contend with the content. Pity you don't realize you're just spewing sour grapes.

True enough, because the Shrub was STILL developing his public speaking rap....and we all know how that worked out.

and I am sure you just take everything fox news says as the gospel..
you would know about spewing sour grapes my friend, and hijacking threads.

Hey pea brain... Sean Hannity did EXACTLY what media matters said he did. But if you don't believe it, you can WATCH the video for yourself...

But pea brains don't ever want to see or hear anything that will upset their pea brained dogma...

Hey meat head, I don't care..How come mediamatters never takes on any of the liberal talking heads that spew lies daily...huh
mediamatters always take one thing a person says and then try to suggest this is how they are all the time..
media matters is a propaganda arm of the Democrats, run by Democrats..

Amazing the hypocrisy, isn't it?

So, when Hannity lies, that's OK...but it's not OK to call him out on it and reveal the TRUTH...

If you have proof of liberal lies then provide it...

What LIE did Hannity tell? Seems to me, he did what liberals do all the time, took a snippet of something that was said, and presented it out of context in a distorted way. But he merely played what Obama said.... he didn't LIE about anything.... Obama DID say that!

You've already been given one very good example of this from bravo... same exact thing... something was said, and liberals took it completely out of context, and made the argument that something entirely different was said. This went on for nearly a year about the war in Iraq and Saddam/911... you people still routinely bring it up. Is THAT a LIE?

Imagine, a news agency reporting, word for word, on what a political figure actually said. *shrug*

and I am sure you just take everything fox news says as the gospel.. Sorry toodles, but your opinion is just that....your opinion. Unless you can prove what you say with valid, documented FACTS, you're just blowing smoke.
you would know about spewing sour grapes my friend, and hijacking threads.

This is a discussion board, mastermind. You're fellow neocon parrot made a statement that wasn't true. I provided documented FACTS that proved him dead wrong. Rather than just acknowledge this, I get some BS from you generally attacking the source material while avoiding the content. So to date I have two willfully ignorant neocon parrots that refuse to acknowledge reality. You see, the quotes are from the Shrub himself....and can be checked by legitimate various news sources and the official White House record itself if need be. To date, no one can dispute the quotes I put here.

But you keep BS'ing toodles.....it's all you've got.
