Senator Says 'Resign' or 'Suicide' for AIG

i can't believe i agree with desh, but she is right. suicide is a serious issue and for this joker to make this comment, absolutely uncalled for. maybe he should resign. imagine if a republican or say rush limbaugh made the comment, the liberal media would crucify them. but he is a lib, so he pretty much gets a pass.

Bullshit. The guy was talking about them making a public mea culpa. He used Japan as the example and then went a little further in suggesting Seppuku and it was merely a frustrated attempted at rhetoric. People need to lighten the fuck up.

Suicide is the ultimate exercise is personal autonomy. It may leave people feeling angry, hurt and confused, but if a person chooses to end their own life, they have acted in an autonomous self determined way.

Yeah, I hear you, at least I think I do. This afternoon driving home from school, heard a clip of Schumer saying that if the AIG folks don't 'give back the bonuses, Congress will tax it back.' Isn't that like ex post facto?
