The Biblical prophecies? Yes. That's why I showed all that math on the 1st page or 2. Most all of this is found in Old Testament books such as mainly Daniel... then Joel, Isaiah, Ezekiel & Zechariah.
Sorry, I disagree, the Gospels were written to fit those prophesies. They are taken out of context and divorced from their original meaning, like Mary being a virgin, Jesus being born of the lineage of David and his being born in Bethlaham.
mm

And, all the events prophesied by both, by different authors, over a couple thousand years, with complete synchronization of texts (before the age of computers, copy/pasting, digital files, photography and libraries), a Messiah who was born, lived and died exactly to those prophecies and all leading to events which have been transpiring through the last couple thousand years perfectly occurring according to scientific evidence (astronomical & geological) and timelines are.....................either mere coincidence or a bunch of Hebrew copycats?

No.

Taken to its logical conclusion from your lack of faith and abundance of skepticism, we also can not believe any accounts of world history prior to 1800 basically. We can not accept writings of Aristotle, Socrates, Sun Tzu, Plato, Parmenides, Descartes, Confucius, Aquinas, Cicero, Shankara, Maimonides, Khayyam, ad infinitum..........

Nor can we believe maps of the world showing the history of nations, cities, boundaries and changes made to any and/or all of these through centuries. All the archeological evidence from Israel, Palestine and Egypt are all made up and 'planted'. Genealogical records were started by someone with too much time on their hands and complete rubbish. The history of Sicily alone from 750 BC and all its occupants by Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Normans, French, Germans, Spanish, Italians and even British is just fictional writings.

Nor can we believe any and/or all of written historical accounts of ancient world leaders, their government systems, famous wars & battles with the reported results, religions, their families or even their very names...........simply because they were handwritten and well...maybe all of civilization was copying something they saw or heard elsewhere and appropriated credit for it.

Indonesia raises Bali volcano alert to highest level

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Indonesian authorities have raised the alert level for the Mount Agung volcano on the tourist island of Bali to the highest level, and more than 11,000 villagers have left their homes around the mountain, officials said Friday.

It was the third time in little more than a week that the alert level was raised. The Department of Meteorology, Climate and Geophysics said there has been a "tremendous increase" in the mountain's seismic activity, indicating a greater probability of an eruption, though it couldn't give a timeframe.

The National Disaster Mitigation Agency said no residents or tourists should be within 9 kilometers (6 miles) of the crater and within 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) to the north, northeast, southeast and south-southwest.

Waskita Sutadewa, spokesman for the disaster mitigation agency in Karangasem district around Mount Agung, said nearly 11,300 villagers have been officially evacuated. He said the real number of displaced might be two or three times that, since many have voluntarily fled their houses.

The agency says evacuees are staying in temporary shelters, sports centers, village halls and with relatives.

The 3,031-meter (9,944-feet) Agung last erupted in 1963, killing about 1,100 people and hurling ash as high as 10 kilometers (6 miles).

The mountain, 72 kilometers (45 miles) to the northeast of the tourist hotspot of Kuta, is among more than 120 active volcanoes in Indonesia.

The country of thousands of islands is prone to seismic upheaval due to its location on the Pacific "Ring of Fire," an arc of volcanoes and fault lines encircling the Pacific Basin.

More than 7,000 of the evacuees were in the 840 square kilometer (325 square mile) Karangasem district, which is home to about 408,000 people.

Hezbollah has 10,000 fighters in Syria ready to confront Israel, commander says...

Iranian-backed Lebanese terror group is an army with 'infantry, rockets, tanks, elite forces,' building tunnels, military bases for future war.

Hezbollah has more than 10,000 fighters in southern Syria ready to confront Israel, a commander for the Iranian-backed Lebanese terror group has said.

“Hezbollah has over 10,000 fighters deployed in southern Syria. Hezbollah is an army of infantry, rockets, tanks, elite forces,” the Hezbollah official told the Middle East Eye website this week, amid tensions surrounding the shooting down by the Israeli Air Force on Tuesday of an Iranian-built drone launched by the group as it attempted to cross into airspace.

The commander said the fighters were based in areas surrounding the Golan Heights and that tunnels and military bases were being built for a possible confrontation with Israel

“We are operating as we do in south Lebanon, but of course in a veiled manner,” he said.

Speaking of the truce in southern Syria, under the auspices of Russia and the United Nations, the commander said that the “de-escalation plan is better for us. We are working with more freedom, there are no more bombings.”

The commander said that the next war with Israel may start from Syria but “what really matters is where will it end, will it be in Netanya, Haifa or Kiryat Shmona?”

On Tuesday, Israel used a Patriot missile to shoot down the drone launched by Hezbollah and scrambled fighter jets to the area where the device was set to cross into Israeli airspace, but ultimately did not need to use them as the interceptor missile was able to destroy the target.

The Patriot interceptor missile was launched from a military installation in northern Israel, near the city of Safed.

After the drone breached the “Bravo line” that marks the Syrian border and entered the demilitarized zone — but not Israeli airspace — the IDF “decided to intercept it,” army spokesperson Lt. Col. Yonatan Conricus said Tuesday.

In a statement, the IDF said it “will not allow any infiltration or approach toward the Golan Heights area by terrorist figures from Iranian forces, Hezbollah, Shiite militias or Islamic Jihad.”

According to Conricus, the air force monitored the unmanned aerial vehicle from its take-off at Damascus airport to the demilitarized zone that separates the Israeli and Syrian Golan Heights.

“We monitor everything that flies toward the State of Israel and follow it closely for any potential threat,” he said.

Conricus said Military Intelligence was able to identify the drone as Iranian-built and Hezbollah-launched based on the army’s arrays of sensors in the area and its years of experience monitoring the group.

The spokesperson said the drone appeared to be performing reconnaissance mission in the area. It was not immediately clear if the drone was armed.

Shortly after the incident, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman warned that any country or terrorist group that threatens Israel will “pay a dear price, very dear.”

The debris from the drone landed near the Syrian city of Quneitra so the IDF was not able to recover it, he said.

The Patriot missile system was designed by the United States to intercept incoming missiles and aircraft. It has been deployed in Israel since the 1990s, but first saw anti-aircraft combat during the 2014 Gaza war, when a battery shot down an unmanned Hamas aircraft over the port of Ashdod.

Israel has long been concerned by its nemesis Iran’s ongoing efforts to establish itself in southern Syria, near the Golan Heights.

Jerusalem fears that the Iranian presence in that area would serve as a springboard for terrorist groups to attack Israel in the future.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly been negotiating with his counterparts in the United States and Russia to establish an Iran-free area around surrounding the border, but to no avail yet.

Earlier this month, tens of thousands of Israeli soldiers participated in the largest military drill since 1998, simulating war with Hezbollah for 10 days.

The exercise was named “Or HaDagan” after Meir Dagan, a former Mossad chief and IDF general who died last year.

Israel last fought a full-scare war with Hezbollah in 2006’s Second Lebanon War, and tensions have remained high even as the northern border has remained relatively quiet since.

This exercise was touted as a chance to practice failures or military shortcomings exposed during the war.

Led by Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah is believed to have an arsenal of between 100,000 and 150,000 short-, medium- and long-range missiles and a fighting force of some 50,000 soldiers, including reservists.

While Israeli military officers often discuss a future conflict with the terrorist group as a matter of “when, not if,” the assessment of the IDF is that Hezbollah is not currently interested in renewed warfare with Israel at present, due to its active involvement in the Syrian civil war, which have caused it significant strategic problems.

So when September 23rd comes and goes with no catastrophic "end of times...
Will Stench admit that the Buy Bull is full of fantasy and bullshit?

Magnitude 5.7 quake hits off northern California -USGS

AAsmkyN.img

Sept 22 (Reuters) - A magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck on Friday off the coast of Northern California in the Pacific Ocean, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said, but there were no reports of damage or injury.

It was quickly followed by a second quake of 5.6 closer to shore, the USGS said. The larger temblor was initially reported by the agency as magnitude 5.8.

Both quakes struck west of the California town of Petrolia and were very shallow, amplifying their effects, but a USGS map showed that they were not widely felt along the coast.

The Office of Emergency Services for Humboldt County, California said there were no initial reports of injuries or damage from the quake.

Magnitude 5 quakes and above are not uncommon in seismically active California. They are considered moderate and capable of causing considerable damage if they hit a heavily populated area directly.

But rarely do they cause problems when they strike offshore from the sparsely populated Mendocino coast.

Still a few folks here evidently have not read my posts from the beginning. THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE 2ND COMING OF CHRIST TO THE EARTH MARKING THE END OF THE WORLD.
I'm also aware that some commenters are not Christians and they have no Biblical understanding of the topic.

This is simply following and paying attention to the signs that God told us to look for leading up to Daniel's 70th week...the 7 year Tribulation. And, a lot of it has to do with Israel. Everybody got that now? :)

For prophetic purposes though, we can't get much closer to Christ's return to gather His own prior to the Great Tribulation upon the earth (the Rapture of the Church). For any unbelievers reading this post, we are not talking about the end of the world.

Nobody including myself has "predicted" an exact day, hour and minute of the Rapture. God is sovereign and he will do as he pleases when he wants to. The historical evidence is here that there will be a "significant" event regarding Israel in this time frame.

God is sovereign. He will do what he wants, when he wants. The Lord said for us to "occupy" until he comes...just live our lives, eat, sleep, go to work, play with our dogs, whatever. He's also told us to use wisdom and "watch" the signs he has given. As I mentioned back in the beginning, all of this adds up to something of great significance concerning Israel. This could be the Rapture prior to the Great Tribulation.

...it's always best to go by Scripture and watch for the signs Jesus told us to watch for, always leaving God with the final decision.

I am looking for something of significance regarding Israel on or around that date. The Rapture sure would be nice though.

This isn't about the end of the world. No one knows the time or hour of that. This is watching for specific signs God told us to look for along a Biblical timeline leading towards Daniel's 70th week.

Another excellent presentation regarding this date is found here. I highly recommend it. This missionary Pastor explains this in very succinct, simple and clear language.

Watch it to the end with a calcualtor if you must, but the math is truly obvious and simple....

This guy's got the numbers and WOW, do they ever add up!!!!

God commanded the Jews to celebrate a Jubilee year every 50 years.
Balfour Declaration 1917 +50
Israel regains territory 1967 +50
2017 Time for possible Rapture??? :awesome:

I find it hard to believe you would be posting on a day you are supposed to be getting raptured....nonetheless, enjoy your airborne trip to the pearly gates today!

New earthquake, magnitude 6.1, shakes jittery Mexico

MEXICO CITY — A strong, new earthquake shook Mexico on Saturday, toppling already damaged homes and a highway bridge and causing new alarm in a country reeling from two even more powerful quakes this month that together have killed nearly 400 people.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the new, magnitude 6.1 temblor was centered about 11 miles (18 kilometers) south-southeast of Matias Romero in the state of Oaxaca, which was the region most battered by a magnitude 8.1 quake on Sept. 7. It was among thousands of aftershocks recorded in the wake of that earlier quake, which was the most powerful to hit Mexico in 32 years and killed at least 90 people.
