Is it true that the cuts from this sequester bs are not really cuts at all, but reductions in the amount of future increases ?

If so, that would make all the doomsday crap from Obama about teachers being fired, fireman and police losing their jobs, and kids starving from
lack of funds to school lunches just so much nonsense....
How come he doesn't threaten cuts to Congressional staffs or cuts in federal wages or roll backs to the outrageous perks they enjoy ?

You are 1000% correct. It is a reduction in growth of spending. Even with sequester, the federal gobblement is going to spend $15 billion more than last year.

The truth is that Obama thought the defense cuts would cause the GOP to blink because he like all libs think the GOP would never cut spending.

But there is a new breed in the House and Boner is fighting for his life. Obama is more fearful of having his bluff called. Because if that happens the cel is lifted.

This truly a moment the GOP could regain ground. But I never underestimate their ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

And yes, I don't expect Tai back. Just like Jarod ran from his bogus claim about Exxon paying ZERO taxes. They just pretend it never happened.

Like how the sequester was a COMPROMISE given to the GOP in order to AVOID the "fiscal cliff" that the GOP threatened to take us over last year....an agreement Both Boehner and Ryan stated they were happy with...and then did a 180 to reject it!

Lets back up a second. You are asking me to disprove points I never made.

I never argued that the GOP didnt agree to the sequester.

I never argued that Boehner and Ryan didnt declare victory

All those things happened and are a matter of public record

What I simply pointed out and accurately I might add is that sequester was the idea of the White House

I also accurately pointed out that Obama threatened to veto any attempts to do what Obama is suggesting they do
 
I'm really pissed that Michigan is going to bear the brunt of sequestration.....I heard someone saying tonight on the news that tens of billions will be lost in Michigan.....even though a rational person would conclude that probably the fifty billion that's going to get cut will likely mean a billion in cuts in each of the fifty states.....now assuming this person couldn't possibly be fear mongering, I can only conclude we are paying ten other states share of the sequestration.....unfair, I tell you.....unfair!........

You're simply STILL putting forth a half truth but leaving out vital details: the White House came up with the sequester AS A COMPROMISE IN RESPONSE TO GOP OBSTRUCTION AND THREAT OF FISCAL CLIFF! Also, that the "veto" was aimed at the GOP going back on the compromise in it's entirety....NOT just the sequestration in and of itself.
