Does anyone believe for a second, that Trump knew the what, and where of Grand Staircase Escalante? I think some lobbyists for mineral exploration told him what to think, and most of the details.

That one thing turned my Mom sour towards Trump. She fell in love with Utah out west. Mom's a lot more saintly than me, so her getting peeved, and speaking out a little, is probably equivalent to me in a rant, saying Trump can fornicate with a billows.

No, but that was the first thing that caught her attention that way. She is too busy to pay attention to politics. She showed huge disgust when Republicans went after Delta like they did, and she is getting sick of all this gun bullshit.
 
Trump is taking the wilderness that is being protected for the people and giving it to its rightful owners, mining companies. Teddy Roosevelt started protecting land from corporate destruction. What did he know compared to Trump? Lets pump oil through the Alaskan wilderness. It is a unit of profit. Lets bulldoze monuments and open land. It only has value if it is making profit for someone.
