1. Liberals are not Liberal.
A person who is 'liberal' favors more freedom and liberty, and liberals oppose these at every turn. They seek to impose their will through the judiciary, forcing people to live with government regulation, and restrict the ability to realize the American dream. This can clearly be seen in almost every liberal policy initiative, in many cases they actually end up causing the very thing the liberals try to claim they will help.
2. Liberals are not concerned with the "poor and needy!"
Welfare programs (designed by liberals) are actually power traps. They are all given without any expectation from the recipient, and in fact, if the recipient attempts to improve his lot in life, he is immediately disqualified for the programs, so he is encouraged to remain a dependent of the programs, and beholden to keeping liberals in power to increase his standard of living.
3. Liberals are not forward-thinking, they are mired in the past!
As much as we hear about their 'progressiveness' and how their adversaries are 'stuck in the past', it is interesting to note the number of times, in the arena of debate, they will invoke slavery, civil rights, and systemic racism to make their points. As if we still lived in 1962 America, or worse, 1862 America!
4. Liberals genuinely dislike America.
It goes beyond "unpatriotic" --that false outrage from them, makes me LOL. Liberals don't think America is anything special or exceptional. They fail to grasp any concept of what makes America the greatest nation ever to be conceived by man, they actually reject that very thing. They attribute America's greatness with greed, capitalism, and corrupt corporate power. This is why they embrace European socialism, and European everything! This is why they hold up France and Switzerland as 'models' we should pattern. They don't like who we are or what we are, they want us to be European!
5. Liberals are bigoted sexist racist homophobes.
Their whole basis for any social argument, revolves around dividing us into generalized groups, with stereotypical values, and universal needs, wants and desires. They will gladly take up the banner for minority groups, especially if they think they can benefit from it politically. This actually serves as a shield for their innermost personal beliefs. When your mind thinks in terms of generalized groups with universal thought, you expose your bigotry for anyone to see.
6. Liberals Love Confrontation!
Contrary to their anti-war image, liberals actually enjoy a good war! It gives them a chance to dig out the old tie-die shirt, and fire up a doobie for peace! Liberals are Anti-[American side of the]War! It doesn't matter who the enemy is, they already know which side they are going to take! And far be it from anyone to question them... this just gives them the spotlight to display their anti-establishment views more, and they love it. They thrive on the war controversy, but any old controversy will do... race relations... labor unions... education... abortion... gay rights... anything they can turn into a confrontation, they will... because it gets them in the spotlight to spew their anti-establishment rhetoric.
7. Liberals value human life politically.
If a life has benefit for their political ideology, it is of value to them to effect the political means. Otherwise, it is of no value to a liberal. This enables them to oppose the death penalty, but favor abortion. It enables them to support illegal immigration, but oppose the Elian Gonzales' of the world. We must all genuflect toward Cyndi Shehan and listen to what she has to say, but Terri Schiavo's mother is an emotional nitwit we shouldn't listen to! We had daily body counts for Iraq under Bush, but since Obama was elected... not a peep about this! Because, Human Life is valued politically!
, but then i am not a liberal, just a social progressive with a penchant for wanting a better return for my extorted tax dollars
