Because America was still "enjoying" that period of time where women, blacks and other minorities weren't stirring the pot demanding change which would push our country that had been built around white superiority into unchartered territory and for a whole lot of white people....that was scary as fuck. Imagine YOUR country, your WHITE male dominated country having the nerve to try and make everybody equal. The anger set in and then started to boil. Where as before guns were used mainly for hunting and they were safe being left in a truck rack...now they are mainly used to kill people so definitely not safe to be left in a truck.

They did in the 60's if you recall. With the (majority) Republican help, the Equal right laws were passed. Every American has the same opportunity to succeed in life. It must come within themselves to do it, though. I support anyone who supports themselves. And those parents who teach their kids respect and responsibility.
Mainly used to kill people? There are more people who safely shoot at ONE gun club that outnumber the killings in any said day. And more who safely conceal carrying one.

Nowhere did I say every white male was a supremacist. I said a certain demographic tend to be the shooters, more often than not. You should hate being thrown into that pot along with them enough to want to stamp out white supremacy. Right?
