Can you point everyone to even one document stating that to participate in one of the various marches for immigration reform the person must be an illegal immigrant?

Again...No it isn't.

If, as you stated, the only criteria for something to be classified as "open defiance" is that the person must KNOW what they are doing is illegal, then we've got instances of "open defiance" going on virtually everywhere at any time.

I smoke marijuana...I know it's currently illegal...am I "openly defiant" of the law if I only smoke within the confines of my own home?

They actually claim they are illegal or you just reaching? Do you have to support that claim? The next step would then be for you to show who supported that.

Government consequences and "obey the law"... That is exactly what the First Amendment protects them from. The government doesn't have the right to try to regulate what they say.

Tax exemptions should end for all 5013Cs.

So should the deduction for "charitable" donations. If it's really "charitable", the number won't change.

Like I said, I'd go for that. Tax law is overly complicated as it is without adding special classes that don't have to pay and it removes the problem of having the government judge whether your beliefs constitute a religion, and therefore a tax exemption.
