this thread and many like it demonstrate the willful ignorance of the democrats in 2016 and now, completely unfamiliar with the arguments being made or even the circumstances.
hillary stole classifiedsgovernment information off of private internal government servers. she put it on her own server in her own house, and when people found out she tried destroying the evidence by smashing the hard drives with hammers and pretending she thought "wiping" a drive was physically cleaning it "like with a cloth?"
these emails had top secret stuff and the server itself not being very secure ended up being hacked by china and probably even those spooky russians.
hilary did all this, on purpose and with full knowledge, to cover up her crimes, shady business dealings, bribery, extortion, and to avoid FOIA requests
ivanka used a gmail (or w/e) account. the emails themselves were ironically much more secure, the emails themselves hosted on googles servers could be subpoenaed anytime. she did not have physical control over them, and she wasn't using it to discuss classified information or to store top secret documents, and she didn't try to destroy the information when people found out, she in fact switched off of it before even being told to do so.
what Hilary did was against the law.
it's really not that hard to understand.
