Shopping this weekend...

They are able to keep prices low, you join their club to shop there. Therefore they take steps to protect against theft thus lowering business costs and passing that savings on to you.
 
I don't care, how high their rates of shoplifting are, that's not my issue. If they make me wait more than 5 min's to do them this favor... I aint going to.

That's true. It still does not them the right to require I wait 20 min's to prove I am innocent.

And if too many did do that they wouldn't be able to offer the low prices that draw you to their store. Some people are more selfish than others. You may want to look at your agreement that is part of the membership. It's possible you agreed to wait.

Again, not my issue. Heck, more power to them if they can get enough people to obey there unpublished rules, I'm happy to get cheaper stuff.

Yup. Pretty much my attitude. There are several stores I don't do business with cause they didn't treat me with the respect due a paying customer.

It is if part of your membership is the agreement to have that checked.

Here also... A certain dry cleaner who accused me of putting ink on my own shirt... and some others. I have cost that dry cleaners thousands of dollars in business by telling people not to go there and to go to the cheaper alternative less than a block away.

Additionally the jury would hear a lot about the difference between the injuries caused by falling down the stairs and those caused by being hit by a goon. They would also be very interested in why the security video was turned off... etc..

True but I put that sort of notion under the prospect of Dead Right but still dead. It's not smart to threaten security personnel. They have a job to do and if you feel you're rights are being violated you have the right to resist as most have no police powers what so ever...but don't threaten them...not smart.

Keep in mind, a lot of these security guys are retired cops and retired military. It's not smart to get mouthy with them or threaten them. It's not worth an ass beating or being detained.
